I do have prior experience as a moderator - InCorrectcraft (Was a mildly popular server back a few years ago) - And another server owned by another player and me (Currently working bugs out) Which server would you like to moderate? -Factions ----- Short Answers (ABOVE) ----- Longer Answers (BELOW) ----- About me: I am a 21 year old US Navy veteran from the Midwest in the United States. I currently am going to school and working part time but I do have quite a lot of free time (hence the application). Why I think I should be a mod: - Reason for applying - Basically, I see on factions that most of the community gets away with a lot of rule breaking and such because, well, the moderators that have been selected are not fit for duty and don't seem to do the task right. So I thought that with my prior experience with moderator and administrator I would be able to shape the Faction server into a friendly fun environment, and not the hostile unfriendly way it is now. - Maturity - I have the maturity it takes to be a moderator. Handing warnings, mutes, bans, or even just helping someone out you have to have the maturity to handle each situation accordingly without acting unprofessional and actually be someone to look up to for help if needed. I also have a low tolerance for swearing in chat, I don't care how old you are, it's just the fact that this game is accessible to a younger crowd and the chat must reflect such. - Patience - Dealing with disrespectful players or a high demand of questions creates a lot of stress on a person. I am able to keep calm even under extreme stress and make informed decisions without bias. I will carefully go through evidence from players and look at every argument from multiple angles to reach a fair and just decision. - Diligence - I am a very hard worker. I will frequently go above and beyond to help someone out just so they feel like they really have been taken care of and would love to come back to me another time. How long have you been on the server and how active can you be on the server? I have been playing on mineverse for a couple of months and only recently created a forum account. I can be active almost every day for roughly 5-6 hours depending on work and/or school. Do you have previous moderator experience? Yes, I have moderated multiple servers in the past. - The first being InCorrectcraft. This was a fairly popular server a few years back and it was set as a faction/anarchy server. I worked my way up from being a normal player to one of 3 most powerful factions and then was promoted to Moderator by the Administrator. - The second being a server owned by another player and me in which I am an Administrator. My job on that server is aesthetics and dealing directly with players. - I also have 3-4 years of customer experience in the real world and also military leadership experience Have anymore questions? I definitely understand the forums, not much to do in terms of helping people. I don't know the other server gamemodes that well but I do try and look for things I can help with.
