Ask them a question only the person they might be imitating would know.

This guy named TheOnionWarrior was saying that TheOnionWarior was a fanboy of some sort. TheOnionWarior had me convinced that his account (TheOnionWarrior) was hacked and that his alternate account was TheOnionWarior. I did ask TheOnionWarrior about a transaction we did between finchy and us, and it helped us figure out who was the imposter.
