[Global] /report

Hey!
I've seen this command on some other servers and I find it extremely useful! This is because you can /report <name> <reason> and then it's been sent to a moderator then they can moderate that player and keep an eye out for him. This will reduce the amount of hackers or anything!

I'm not sure with this suggestion at the moment. Also, there would be no point of reporting on forums.

Right now, %50 support.

 

There might be people that abuse this

/report jeff LOL
/report jeff SPAM!

I agree with them because the amount of legit reports they would get would be huge plus the kids messing around and then no one would know who is being legit or who is messing with you. Sorry but it would need some sort of cool down or if someone already been reported they can't be again. %30 support

 

Absolutely no reason for this.
This would just be another way for players to annoy staff, then they wouldn't have a rule against abusing /report so the Moderators wouldn't be able to punish them for abusing it.

Maybe if only trusted members had it, and earned it?

As said above, this could be abused easily. Plus, I see absolutely no reason for it. :P

 

All i think is that trolling kids will just do this

I agree, but make it that that you can only report every 3min or so

 

Make a rule against abusing the system. More staff could also help enforce it. Sadly, this is a two way street.

 

I think this would help the community gigantically, but it is up to CypriotMerkz and NoobCrew.

 

I don't really understand. Would the reports go to every moderator or just the first one that happens to log on..? I mean, imagine being a moderator, coming on to a game mode to be spammed by messages saying 'this person reported that person for so and so'. Also, what of the players happen to log off before a moderator comes on? Then it would be unnecessary. This could easily be abused also, as stated above. So, I don't believe this should be implemented.

 

Exactly. If they're lying, it's a waste of time.

 

There should be a cooldown, but 50% support for now.
