Intro: Hello, my name is Nicholas aka Nickwongold. I've been playing Mineverse for almost a year, if not than it has been a year (I can't remember). So far in my time of playing on this server I've had a lot of fun and made so many great friends and now I think its my time to give back to this server. If you've read up to this point, I thank you very much and hope you continue on reading. How old are you? I am currently 14 and will be turning 15 in May. Your in-game name: My in-game name is Nickwongold and if you are wondering, I will not be changing it anytime soon. What Timezone are you in? I am in Eastern Timezone (UTC 5:00) USA and Canada. What Country do you live in? I live in U.S.A. What languages do you speak? I speak English and I am currently learning Spanish. (I know enough to be able to help someone who speaks Spanish if needed) Why do you think you should become a mod? I think that I should become a mod because lately I've noticed the lack of activity of moderators, I can follow the rules and I know I can help. I know that some of the moderators live in different timezones so that's why some might not be on, but I can fill in that time when the other Mods are not on. Also on prison, I've seen an increase of people being killed in the mines with lava and people using contraband, but if a guard is on it will decrease the amount of those kinds of things happening. Helpful: In my opinion and others, I am very helpful. I know a lot about the rules of the server and the forums so I know how exactly how to help someone and solve the situation. I use to tutor people which shows how I can show people the right thing to do and help them learn which could apply to the rules on the server by helping them not make mistakes. Mature: In-game, I know I do not act mature, but in real life I'm very mature for my age, but still keep a sense of humor. If needed I can bring my maturity in-game and be patient and very respectful. Skills: I am a very fast typer which can be helpful in "Dire" situations. I can type up to over 60 words in a minute if necessary. I also know commands that would apply when being a moderator such as /kick, /ban, /mute an various others. I also have a very good memory so if anything else I need to know, I can remember them. I also have very good grammar (I think). I know all of the contraband items and all the rules that have to do with prison. I am also very reactive. If I see something on forums or in-game, I won't ignore it. I will respond too it asap and not over react to anything. Trustworthy: I'm a very trustworthy person. You can trust me to do my job right without abusing my powers. If needed I can keep any secret and others can trust me and tell me anything without spreading it to the whole server. Also, any figure with an authority over me can ask me anything that has to do with the server and I will be completely honest about it. I would not tell a lie. Respectful: I am a very respectful person. I always know my place and show where I stand so I don't act like I am the boss but will be nice and kind to all. I am fair and never biased so if their is a dispute between individuals then I can help handle the situation equally. Experience: Before learning of Mineverse, I use to play on my friends server in which I was admin on. It got me use to commands and taught me when to use them. I've been playing Mineverse for a long time and learned a lot more from watching other great Moderators. I've made multiple reports on players and I learned from watching others on how to handle reports and appeals. Also, because of my history, I know what to look for in reports and I would know what different hacks look like. Activity: Sadly, I have "no life" and spend most of my time online unless I'm out with friends. I (can) spend anywhere from 4-10 hours in-game and on forums every single day of the week. Unless I'm visiting family, over the Summer I can spend 4-12 hours a day and if I do visit family, I still check forums and go in game every up to 1-5 times a day. Have you ever been banned in the past? In all honesty, yes I have been banned in the past. Putting it out there, it was for hacking and I do regret it strongly because it's proof that I have done wrong, but I take full responsibility. (If you would like to know specifically what I did, PM me). In a weird way the experience with the hacks has shown me what too look for when watching players or looking at reports. Conclusion: I know I can be a great moderator on this server and I love helping others. I've been playing for a while and think that I could do great with the players on the server. I'd lower the font size and stick to 2-3 dark colors to make the application more readable. Good luck.
Thanks for the luck, but I was told in the past too keep my font size slightly big and put colors so it keeps things separated.
The name is all true, they are from School stuff and Sports. I use to play baseball, but stopped for a bit
