Military Strength?

You do realize the USA has the ability to destroy the planet? Same with Russia, MAYBE China although they don't have intercontinental warheads. If there was a next world war, it would be fought with nuclear missiles. (If conflict between Russia, China, or the USA) This meaning, a destroy the world compacity, not a short range attack. (India, France, ect) I think you are underestimating the power of these countries.

 

I'm a pacifist (Not religion, just my own believes).
So, I really don't have an opinion on this.
If I had to choose I would go with U.S.A. because I moved there from Canada :D

 

Never said that. It only takes a couple crazy people to do it though (In government). If a terrorist gets a hold of one, thats another story because they would have no hesitation in destroying something.

Take the Winter War (Date 30 November 1939 – 13 March 1940), between Finland and Russia (at that time Soviet Union), Finland was outnumbered with men, by a lot. Finland had 250 000 men fighting for their lives when Soviet had overall almost 1 million. The Finns knew how to fight in the cold winter and take advantage of it and for a fact, Soviet tanks weren't cleaned before war so a Molotov was thrown on the tank, burning it down.

But to the point, Finland fought for their country to the very last, even thou they were outnumbered by a lot and Finland had proven to Soviet that they will fight to the very last man. The peace treaty was signed in Moscow 1940, yes, Finland lost some of their land, but Finland's casualties were only 70 000 (I know it's a lot) but compared to Soviet, that lost 323 000.

Nowadays, Finland wouldn't stand a chance against Russia. Their technology is far more advanced than our.

I was never judging their military strength, I was judging whether they would start a war themselves, which I personally think is unlikely on such a scale.
