Hello everyone, and our admins, Noobcrew and CypriotMerkz! Hey, and welcome to my app. I won't provide a long intro because it's valuable character space used up :3 But I am Diamonds180, a willing moderator applicant who strives to do his very best at a given job. Although it is never 100%, I aim for the highest quality percentage I can achieve. This is why I think the moderator position would be appropriate for me. All I ask is for you, the reader and examiner, to leave feedback on my app with either a Support, Neutral or No support. (You can explain why you say these opinions if you want) So let's get started! 1. How old are you? I am currently 13 years old. 2. Ingame name: My Ingame name is Diamonds180. 3. My time zone : London, Uk Regular Time GMT. 4. What country do you live in? I live in the UK, England. 5. What languages do you speak? Fully English, a little bit of spanish. 6. Why do you think you should become a mod? Ok so I have been playing minecraft for 3 years and I have noticed the amount of people that do not follow server rules and do not give any responsibility for anything (e.g griefing, spam, modding etc) so recently I thought I could stop this happening to people, so I can help stop the disrespectful players. This is vital to keep the server at its best and keep it on the Minecraft Server 1st list. Here are the characteristics I have taken and conquered.: Mature I (and my parents) think I am mature enough to not play around with commands and can fully respect and safeguard mineverse. I do not aim to trade jokes with the players, that is not who I am. This trait is good because: Mature people have a clear understanding of the moderators terms. Immature people however give the freedom of banning and muting everyone. Kind Characteristics I am kind, helpful and respectful to all players so there is no need to send out staff to help anyone- I will help! I will take up even the most challenging command, from a player. This trait is good because: No one wants a rude moderator that does not listen to commands and offends everyone. I however show the complete opposite and respect all players with my heart. Understanding I know I must follow regulations and not go "too far" with the moderator commands. I just want to make sure everything is under control so we can keep the community going. This trait is good because: I will have knowledge of a moderator role and it's tough-to-memorise stuff. Experienced I am very experienced at Minecraft, I pretty much know every crafting recipe like the back of my hand. I know how to control a server with a busy nation from a past experience as hosting a server. This trait is good because: You will have past experience as a mod and will know what to/ what not to do. Respectful I dream up to be moderator because as I said, Mineverse is my favourite server. I want to give maximum respect for it- I want to take care of it- I want to be a part of it. This trait is good because: People can trust a respected person. People can make easy friends with respected people as well. I love to make friends, so it is perfect. Guiding/ Helping people not to break rules I also know the servers rules off by heart, what to do and what not. I will try as hard as I can to convince people not to perform bannable actions This trait is good because: It can help reduce the amount of rule breakers and banned players on mineverse. This is vital to keep the players up on mineverse. Well known and respected A lot of mineverse players respect me and even recommended for me to apply for mod. I want to say thank you to them by showing that I do listen and that I did try for mod, and a mod they know and can relate to well. This is so I can give and receive positive conversations between players. This trait is good because: If people know you and respect you, it's easier for them to communicate with you. However it is hard for people who don't know you to talk to you. Efficient I always seek for a quick and professional method to complete actions such as sorting how to talk to people whilst informing people about general activity. This trait is good because: I can get multiple things done in a quick time to prevent stress later on when you have loads of things to do and you don't have time. Friendly Yes, of course I love to make friends. I want everyone to know (if I became moderator) that they shouldn't be afraid to ask a question to me as I will be as friendly as their own family. This trait is good because: People can become friends with me easily and they will have a man to lay a shoulder on and a guy who can give advice to players. I don't want to scare people, I just want to be the friendliest person to them. Active Every few weeks I can be on for multiple hours so no other mods need to worry if no one is online. This trait is good becuase: A person that is active everyday can catch the majority of the abusers on mineverse. However a non active person is complained about and misses most of the abusers and hackers. Reliable/ Trustworthy This is what I think is the most important characteristic a mod can have. A few players who apply for mod cannot be trusted as I have seen them online and have seen for myself. (No names in particular, I don't want to be mean.) But I however, can be trusted for any relevant command for me to do and any problem that can be solved. This trait is good because: You will know that I can finish a job and is one to do it right. Clean I do not appreciate or tolerate disrespectful / racist / abusing behaviour. Consider ANYONE who says something in the chat following the above descriptions, they will be muted or temp banned. This trait is good because: It can help reduce the inappropriate comments in the chat and can stop parts of racism/ sexual content. (This applies to Server Ads aswell.) Non-Biased Let's just say there was an argument between a person I respect and a person a didn't particularly like, then I wouldn't instantly say "Well I'm on his side because I don't like you." because that is wrong. Every mod should believe that. This trait is good because: As a mod you're job is to respect the players. Non biased means equal and not 60/40. It will give everyone an understanding that a mod is not going to support you through an argument. Responsible As a moderator, my job is based of what I do. So, I am responsible for every single action I take, and will be honest if I know I have made a mistakes whilst doing this. I pledge that all my work is my responsibility and mine only. It is not for others to be blamed or congratulated on. 100% me. This trait is good because: A moderator who is not responsible for their actions is not careful or safe in his job. I secure responsibility because I am 100% honest with what I do and if it is mistaken. 7. How long can you be active on the server everyday? Normally 1-3 hours everyday, and some weekends I could be on for up to 4-5 hours. 8. How long have you been playing Mineverse? Almost 2 years. 9.Have you ever been banned before? Never on any server, but this year I had an unfortunate forum ban for accidently releasing a link to another forum, which I know now is not allowed. 10. Do you have any past experience as a mod? Yes, I am currently a moderator on AlazarMC and a moderator on MultiPvP. EDITED: As of 10/9/15, all applicants are now applying for global. Therefore I do not need to put the servers question in to detail. The whole server with global mods is great, because separate mods can catch rule abusers on a different gamemode and can't ban them. Having all staff as globals now makes it better and abusers can't escape. That's how good our staff team is. And I want to help. To join this team would mean: - My responsibility comes first. - I will work harder. - I will try my best to help out a player, even if I have to go miles to find a solution. - I am a moderator, not a slacker. - This is a job, not a game. Extra~ Utilities I use a spare iPhone to get proof for bans and such and I briefly know the commands a moderator has. /ban <player> (reason) /tempban <player> (reason) /mute <player> /socialspy /god /fly /v - /van - /vanish Anyway, thank you all for reading my super long app, and even better thank you if noobcrew or Cypriot reads this! Thanks again guys! ~Diamonds180
I need to go with 50% because you aren't on Forums enough but we need factions/skyblock moderators. good luck.
Stop making several threads, as that will lower your chances of getting moderator. Just edit your first application.
