I agree. I have seen bananaman on skyblock (as it is my favourite server) and he is very rude. Sorry but no support.

Hello Ewan! What is your ign by chance? I myself, am brutally honest in my words against people which is probably not the best approach as some people get offended. I am sorry if you experienced this, I will definitely work on being more more mellow in situations. I also will say this with confidence, I am not rude. I am more of a person who says things that I shouldn't. Not by cursing of course, but by being too straight up. Anyway, I am truly sorry. I may know you from a while ago as Elric posted that awhile back. I have certainly made progress with this as I have had one other person privately suggest it to me. Thanks for the response, it's enlightening.

Why do you think you should become a mod?

I have had past experiences as staff ranks such as mod and admin
I have always been good at interacting with other people as I have worked at many restaurants.
I have a rock solid knowing of the Mineverse rules and things you can and can't do on the skyblock and hellblock servers.
I strive to keep a safe and fun environment to all users that play Mineverse.
I know how to deal with large sums of players.
I am always open to receive and/or give constructive feedback to any player in need.
I know how to deal with different scenarios of punishment and I am always fair in doing so.
I like to think I am a well known player of the community and can interact with all the members.

Traits:

Intelligent: I believe having intelligence will help you greatly with being a moderator. You have to appear professional to a large audience. I practice this skill everywhere including at home, at work, at school, and in public. I think you always need to tackle situations with a hint of cleverness.
Creativity: I tend to have many ideas that pop up in my head which could be helpful when thinking in ways to deal with a dispute. I love to exercise my creative side of the brain knowing I can actually solve issues using it.
Polite: I believe it is vital to be respectful and polite to all users of the community. I thrive to keep a polite attitude with all players when dealing with problems. Being polite will gain you respect which I value from my fellow players.
Strict: This tool tends to work both ways. When dealing with a situation, there are times when you need to show authority and that you are in charge. When you are strict, more people are inclined to listen and stop whatever actions that are committing at the time.
Humorous: Humor is something I was naturally born into. Unfortunately, It can be used in ways that are mean. That is not the kind of "humor" I am in to. I like to have fun and mess around with users as it makes them feel welcomed.
Organized: Whenever an issue comes to hand, I like to deal with it in an orderly fashion. People that are messy when they deal with things, tend to fail in their duty. When I need to help deal with something, that is the time when I put on my intelligence hat and organize a way to deal with the problem at hand.
Active: When I say Im active, I mean it. I thrive to find more time in my day to help in-game and on the forums. I am not being bias when I state that I'm one of the most active players on the server. I am always looking for more time to play but sometimes obstacles in life don't let you get that extra hour you were hoping for.
Experienced: I would say I've been playing minecraft for about 3 years now. I know everything there is to know about minecraft itself. When I was introduced to Mieneverse, I fell in love to the point where I stayed for over a year. I still enjoy playing and want to give back to the server that has given me so much.

Do you have any past experience as a mod?

Tarantulacraft - I was a head admin on this server for about 6 months. I had a lot of experience when I came out of this position. As an admin, I had to deal with more serious situations then a mod which can help me deal with things that have less importance. I am used to being messaged all this time and I am perfectly willing to respond to each and everyone with kindness. The average player cap on this server was about 50-75 players. This amount of players is much like the skyblock range so I am comfortable dealing with players of this sum.
Nuclearcraft - This server was smaller but still taught me how to be a mod considering I was one. I remembered dealing with many situations that I have never seen before. Now that I am experienced as a staff member in general, I know how to deal with almost everything that comes up. This server averaged around 10-25 players, which is about the amount of players on hellblock.

Which two servers would you like to moderate?

Skyblock: I have been playing this server since I started and I have seen many spammers, scammers, griefers, and cursers in which I have no power to punish at that moment. By the time I get evidence for a report, the players have either stopped or fled.
Hellblock: I want to moderate this server for the reason It has no mods on it. I feel I could help out and be of assistance to the few players that still enjoy playing hellblock. It isn't fair for one to receive minimum help because some mods don't come on.

Action Plan:

Reduce Spamming - I have recently seen many people who have had this sudden urge to spam. Every time I log on, I seem to see at least one person who is spamming the chat. If I had mod, I could deal with the situation appropriately according to the severity of the spam.
Stop Harassment - This has to be the worst thing I see in chat, it really bothers me when players are bullying or harassing others. Mineverse is supposed to be a friendly environment in which people of all ages could play. If I was this happen, I could deal with the situation with authority and make sure it never happens again.
Stop Griefers - People work to hard to have their islands sabotaged by a player. When there is suspicious activity or trespassing in progress, I would like to deal with the situation in a way where it comes under control and where both parties leave satisfied.
Reduce Cursing - Cursing is a big no no. It really gives new players a negative vision on Mineverse. I try to report all the curses I can before they say something offensive. I would like to have the power to save a player from having a negative view. Depending on the words the offender is using, the punishment would vary.
Help Players with Skyblock & Hellblock Commands - People are always asking how to use the commands on these gamemodes. Especially on Hellblock, I try to help out the most I can because no mods ever play. I am always glad to help players in need.
Help Players with any on topic or of topic questions they may have - Regardless if they have an gamemode question or a real question, I am always happy to answer them. I try to use my knowledge to help players understand new concepts.
Suggest new ideas - I am always trying to improve the quality of these gamemodes. I have made countless suggestion thread in which I think could help skyblock become a better playing environment.
