Ok, so a lot of you guys get into issues with other players. Its only natural. Staff is here to handle those issues as quickly and fairly as they can. HOWEVER , this depends on you guys helping them out! 1) Reporting hackers with hacked clients of your own. You are not doing us any favors by reporting players who are hacking when you are hacking too! Yes, we ban you and that means two less hackers on the server. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the angry ban appeal that comes afterward. 2) Pushing staff into corners. EVERYDAY someone on our staff team gets disrespected. They can mute for that. Sometimes, they can even ban for that. However, they have a hard time dealing with players who are so passionate that they are borderline bullying. Think about it this way, piss them off, we won't help you. NOT ALWAYS THE CASE 3) Calling abuse. If you feel a member of staff has abused, make a forum post. It will be handled appropriately. DO NOT go running all over the server screaming about how this staff member on KitPvP banned you for this many days even though you "did nothing wrong". Staff ALWAYS ban for a reason. Staff ALWAYS mute for a reason. 4) Telling a different staff member that you were banned at a different time and trying to get out of it early. This isn't a common issue, but it does leave the Mineverse staff going through countless of hours of paperwork. The staff can always check with their fellow staff members and ask them. 95% Of the time the player was banned only minutes ago. 5) Getting upset when they don't answer right away. They are busy. They're are players on this server just like you all. Staff have their builds and battles that we do. Also, they have about 10 people always trying to talk to them. So, please be patient and wait until a staff member is done with what they are doing before you start saying that they are horrible at what they do. This can also be said if a staff member accidentally misses something that was said. They are human, not machine. Don't get pissed off. 6) Announcing "Staff is here!" Whenever a staff member enters a server, there will always be one player shouting ''Hi staff member, hackers go hide!'' Now that's a bit of an overexaggeration but its still accurate. If they come on, please wait for the staff to announce their presence before you announce their presence. This will make their job catching hackers and griefers 100% easier. The staff is here to help. Not just you, but also the 1500 people that are online. They are human just like you, not a 24/7 operating super computer. They have a life too (or so we hope). Can this be Blue threaded please. (yeah I don't know the exact term) New players need to know this, also I wouldn't mind a couple of veteran players seeing this aswell.
