As we know there are two territories for pvp in factions. The warzone, and the pvp pit. However, the pit is a little small, especially for those who get more use out of ranged combat such as myself. So my suggestion is this; why not make a bigger pvp arena, Like a colesium ( i can spell ) or perhaps i giant arena with spectator stands that people can watch people battle in? A /warp can be set there and then people can either go to the arena area to fight or the stands to simply watch. then we can get rid of the tiny pvp pit, and replace it with something different... like... a little mini shop, where things like raw food and stuff like that can be sold and bought at a low price. I think it would be nice because it would give people more space to fight, more things to sell and buy, AND let more people spectate then the small pit we have now. If you like this idea I would like to see it put into play, and i think it would be a nice addition to Mineverse factions (just regular factions, not OPfactions).;)
no what i mean is, something to replace the pit. yes we have the warzone but that's also used for getting to the wilderness. why not just a massive arena where more people can watch, and also allows (maybe) more people to get to the wilderness with others at the new arena?
I like the current PvP pit. It's good for fisting noobs for unarmed and close combat. If you want a bigger PvP place, walk outside of spawn.
ok but the pit doesn't provide a lot of room. that's what i'm saying. pvp isn't all about close quarters combat. one would want to use a bow instead. a bigger arena would provide more room. and also. it can be hard to get a good view of the warzone at times. putting in a stadium with seats would provide plenty of viewing room for others to watch, and room for both close quarters combat, AND long range combat, that's my point, you can't do that in the pit.
We don't need a stadium. We have a pvp zone. I just said the pvp pit was for close combat and to get ez armour. Not everyone needs to view, we have ledges that you can stand on to watch from above.
ah, but sometimes that gets crowded. and the warzone has no bounderies. you could pin someone in a stadium, but you can't do that in the warzone. besides what looks and sounds cooler; 'fight me in the pit!' or 'fight me in the arena!'?
How will it get more crowded if it has a LOT more room than the pit? i'm talking a more than 100 block around seating area, i don't think it'll get crowded easy. and also the arena portion is over 64 blocks around
It would probably somehow get griefed then if it wasn't in spawn. Unless if Cyp use world guard to protect it. Anyways I think factions it just fine
i was just thinking about everyone really. thinking 'hey if we had a bigger better arena, everyone would have a better time fighting, and it would add a very nice fashion touch :P
