I speak English as a first language, and very little Japanese (Just enough to understand basic greetings and questions) but I am taking lessons under my mentor, Papa Franku Why do you think you should become a mod? I think I should become a mod because I enjoy being looked up to. I often have great ideas that go unheard or unseen, and as a moderator, I find it would be easier for these ideas (Beneficial to the server or not) heard. Another reason is, with my (relatively basic) experience, I want to be able to meet and greet the community that Mineverse hosts, and be able to connect and voice their concerns. I believe my skills are more applicable here than other servers. As a moderator, people tend to look up to you (As I have mentioned) and if I can gather respect like others, I would plan to use that to benefit the server, as people listen to those who are respected among the community. How long can you be active on the server everyday? Daily, about 2 hours, 3 max. (12:30-1pm) (3:30-5:00pm) Weekends are a different story (10-11:30 am) (5-9pm) How long have you been playing Mineverse? I have been playing Mineverse for four months now, I joined in February 2015 Have you ever been banned in the past? No, I have never been banned for anything, not on here, nor any other server. When it comes to other games, no I have not been banned on anything, from Payday 2, to Habbo Hotel, even Club Penguin. I have never used hacks on any game I have played (Including every game I own on steam & stuffs) I tend to keep all of my 'ban-worthy' energy off the computer, and on something that can't damage my reputation (such as a punching bag) While my humor is known to be crude, people know me as a friendly person (on skype, in person, etc. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I have experience playing as the second in command to a server developer (A friend of mine) and while he slept, I was able to keep the server safe and happy (This server held anything from 20 people to 150 at any one time) There were very little problems, apart from a major griefing spree by a hack/grief group known as the 'German Griefers' I have moderated on the 'Arcturus Begins' server, run by Tybetta87. While I have been slandered by another (rather annoying) moderator who had a grudge against me solely for my being transgender, therefore nullifying all his arguments against me. The server was shut down on the 6th of May, as the owner was unable to pay on time, but by then I had been a moderator for a month and a half and the server was thriving. How active am I going to be over the next 3-6 months? Over the next three to 6 months, I can be active 5 days a week, for around three hours a day during the week, but on weekends, I can be active for up to 9 hours. Do you have thick skin? (Ability to tolerate insults) Quite frankly, if I am the target of verbal abuse, experience teaches me to ignore it automatically. I prefer to play and help out others when needed, but my ability to tolerate abuse is outstandingly high compared to anything else I have in my favor. If the insults/targeting go on for too long, I know to report the group or individuals that are breaking (insert rule here) Are you willing to not "play" at times in order to help the community? As mentioned above, I am all for helping out those in need, and have demonstrated such abilities on the forums and in-game. As a moderator, it is understandable that people look up to you, and as such I am willing to put aside my goals to help someone else reach theirs. Although I'm not too well known by many on OP prison, I've been noticed on the forums mainly for this mod app (The first and second revision) and my suggestions (Links below) Are you willing to lead by example? More than happy to do so. The positives of being a good rolemodel are endless, and it makes me happy to see others be happy. I am able to follow rules well, and I am willing to do anything I can to see this server become an even more friendly place. Are you active on the forums as well as in-game I am active on the forums, but have not been as active on the server, as I was busy on another server, and had become moderator on it. Put a lot more detail into 'Why do you want to become a Moderator?' and all the general questions altogether. Then I will take another look.
Your app could benefit from way more detail, as stated above. Also, you are fairly new to the server, getting involved more in the community will help. Good luck, Hannah.
