Good day Mineverse. Most of you might've heard about the Survival reset approximately next week or so. Inlight of this new event I have come up with a new suggestion which could hopefuly change up the economy and improve the server shop itself. How? By adding Cocao Beans to the shop. Positives. • New economy structure. • An actual jungle material to the shop. • This will also bring an actual use to the jungle biome and it's cocao beans, instead of baking cookies. Negatives. • Easily obtainable, you could ''afk farm'' for hours and you'd make a lot of cocao beans. To compensate with this the price shouldn't be as high. (price down blelow) • Possibly sign-blocking. (not an actual negative, but it's always a posibility. Price: 64 Cocoa Beans. $25,- I'll be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have. #Ares.
Even though I don't play survival. I might start playing after the reset. BTW yes why not have Cocoa Beans? The are part of the economy and they can be farmed.
Hi @Ares_Xena, Afraid I have a few questions for you before I fully weigh in, but initial impression is support. Are other easily farmable items that the server shop buys? (Sugar cane, wheat, etc) I mention this as on skyblock with some of the automatic farms, the amount of sugar cane players have is intense. If they were able to sell it at a server shop, could be an interesting amount of money gathered. Luckily the automated options for cocoa beans are a bit more limited than other items so shouldn't be a tremendous concern. Are there limitations on redstone machine? (No more than 20 pistons per chunk, something like that) The more that players are rewarded for automated farming, the more it encourages the use or large red stone structures, which may (or may not) have an impact on server resources. How much money is given for voting? I ask this as I am drawing a blank and at work so I cannot check. It would help me understand how much $25 is in terms of money. (For example, a vote in skyblock is $100 and keys typically award $50, so $25 may be too high) Understanding the above scenarios are extreme and likely not a factor, just want to make sure I have a full understanding as I don't player survival much. (I likely will after the reset though) Cheers, Melgrath
Hello, Melgrath. First, I'd like to thank you for your support. Now that's out of the way, let's get onto business! Q: Are other easily farmable items that the server shop buys? (Sugar cane, wheat, etc) A: The shop offers a variety of farmable items. (Such as; Sugarcane, wheat, pumpkins, melons, potatoes, carrots, cactus) Q: Are there limitations on redstone machine? (No more than 20 pistons per chunk, something like that) A: Obviously there would be a limitation to the amount of pistons per chunk. However, this isn't for me to decide. Q: How much money is given for voting? A: Voting reward offers $1000 (ingame cash) thus CypriotMerks doesn't change this. I chose $25 due to this being the same price as Sugarcane sells for. Cypriot hasn't enlightend us of the amount of money made for selling items/what new items are placed in the shop (or have been removed). Hopefuly this might've answered some of your (key) questions. Sincerely, Ares.
Fantastic! Thank you for the information. With the information provided above, I vote support. The dollar amount is not a huge risk to flood the economy and selling for the same price as sugar cane is ideal. Regards, Melgrath
My auto sugarcane farm on skyblock requires stacks and stacks of pistions. I feel this would be way to low. Anyways, support.
