Preface:
Hello Mineverse, the name is Derrick. But people know me as Recognized. I live in Florida, United States of America. I started back 6 months ago, playing on the server itself, but I was never introduced to the forums. But here I am, applying for staff.
I started Minecraft back in 2010, and I never stopped since. Minecraft has always been my passion, and will be my all time favorite video game. Anyways, my favorite hobby is to play badminton with friends and family. Many of my relatives say Badminton is in our blood, so yeah Badminton runs in the family.;)

Why do you think you should become a mod?
Well before I start, I'd like to say a few words. There are many key traits a person can have, doesn't necessarily mean everyone can have all the traits. If that were to happen the world would be boring, and plain. There is nothing bad with being different than others. In addition, I will never take mod as something to overpower users on Mineverse. It will be used to take care of the environment of Mineverse, and how I will ensure that is by getting rid of the hackers, people threatening others, and inappropriate language. I also have a few words toward other people that applied, you people out there have many talented skills, and I'd like to say good luck to each and everyone that applied. Now lets get to my qualifications.

Honesty
When I just turned 6 years old, I was told to never lie or make up false accusations. I feel as if this is the key to mankind, and people should start considering honesty as first priority. Even when stuff gets tense. For example, if I do something wrong, I will admit to it.

Helpful
When I first started grade school, I learned what "helping" was.. From that day I would help anyone in need. I used this key throughout grade school, which led me to who I am now. I am known to help the community of many parks, and beaches in California. I would clean the parks, beach's, and help find missing child parents/guardians even if it were to take hours.

Kind
I find kindness one of my greatest specialty. I would never hurt someone because they have done bad to me. When I just hit 9 years old, I became a farmer with my uncle. I built my kindness by always greeting the customers that would come into our shop. People would be really harsh to me, but my uncle would always tell me to forget the haters, and move on with life. Also he told me to always have a smile, even if I felt like I was being treated like dirt. Furthermore, when I have a bad day, I maybe a bit grumpy and all. But I will never take that anger out on another human nor animal. ( I like to keep my attitude at a neutral / positive level. )

Responsible
I am responsible due to the fact, that I do not blame others for my wrong. All of my actions, will be I, taking responsible for. That means, no one! To be honest, I've always carried this trait around ever since I became a farmer. I would have to water the crops, take the cow out to eat, move the eggs to a container, and I also had to make sure that the egg was good and not bad by dipping all the eggs in water. I know for fact, that this is one of the major key traits a mod should have, and if I do get the chance of becoming a moderator. Moderating Mineverse will be one of my biggest responsibilities, right next to real life crisis.

Mature
I tend to be mature, as I know one day I will own a family. Not having this trait would literally kill me. (Well not kill me, but its nice to have this sort of trait in a human being). Also, I may crack up some jokes once in a while, but it will never be anything toward other users. I don't tolerate profanity, nor racism.

Reliable
When I have a job given, I am the man who tends to not even let a single thing slip. Same goes with moderating a server. If someone needs me I will respond back as fast I can, to make sure I am getting the job done. What makes me reliable is that I like to help anyone in need, and I don't finish when I want too, I finish when I fulfilled my duties. I am also a nerd when it comes to video games.

Perseverance
When it comes to any job, there is nothing better then getting the job done on the first try. But everyone make mistakes once in a while, and what separate's me from many others is that I like to take risks, because you never know if the outcomes turns to be good. ( If you never fail, you will never learn from those mistakes ).

Respect
When it comes down to giving and receiving respect. It is like no one can stop you from what you do best. For example, If I were to be in a tense competition, of course we are going to be all competitive and all that. Then there would be a winner. Going through all that hard work, dedication and perseverance. There is only one thing left to do, which is to show the respect you have for your rival and wish him/her the best, because that one motivation can probably mean everything to them. So that is why I value respect as one of my key traits.

Active
I'm pretty sure most of you know this already but ever since I joined Mineverse forums, I immediately got addicted to it. It is something I have to go on and see whats going on. Thanks to the community of Mineverse, because you guys are the reason why I fell in love with the community of Mineverse.

How long have you been playing Mineverse?
It has been more then 6 months of playing the server itself. In the other hand I am quite new to the Mineverse forums. But I already have past experience from moderating small community servers. Which also included a site for forums, and a teamspeak server.

Have you ever been banned in the past?
I have never been banned on Mineverse, and hopefully it will remain that way.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
Yes, as I stated above I have moderated a server before. If you need the name to it, I will PM you it, it averaged 200+ users until the server stopped progressing, then people stopped donating, leading the admins to stop paying for the server. In other words, it went down because the owner wasn't developing nor improving the server. I also know the commands for moderating. For example;

/ban [username] [Reason]

/tempban [username] [time]

/mute [username]

/kick [username]

/unban or /pardon

Which two servers would you like to moderate? (Recommended pick the two servers you play the most)
I would like to moderate OpFactions, and Factions OPPvP. As I feel these are the two servers on Mineverse that hardly gets any moderation. I want to help stop the threats, users hacking, and the inappropriate language being displaced. For instance, if I see a user using Kill Aura or any sort of hack. I will immediately open up my recording software and get full evidence of the user hacking, and in no hesitation I will ban him/her. Either if its my friend or not, when your a mod you have a duty to fulfill, in other words. No favoritism. I absolutely despise people threatening people to ddos, hack the server, etc. For example, if someone says, "I'm going to hit you offline", it is a immediate screenshot and the screenshot will be safely saved in my moderation folder on my computer. Furthermore, we as players always see people using inappropriate language going off on chat. Which usually occurs when people end up betraying each other, pvp related, etc. But the thing is that, it hurts to see young children learn such language and to be in a environment where words are getting out of line, and there would be no mod to stop it.

Why I say "no mods are there to stop it", is because there are hardly any moderators inspecting the server itself. It would be users' reporting people for breaking the rules. I feel that moderators should make the server first priority then moving threads to there correct location. But don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with moving threads. There are already plenty of mods inspecting forums, and I feel there needs to be more moderators inspecting in game.

Conclusion:
Moreover, I know getting moderator is very rare, I am aware that many users will try to bash on moderators every way they can. But I'm okay with that, it doesn't change who I am. I am going to follow my instincts and listen to what the administrators expect me to do as a moderator. Anyways, I'd like to thank each and every one of you guys for taking the time to read my moderator application.
