I am 14 and my in-game name is Flffypenguin. I live on the eastern coast of the United States and my timezone is UTC-5:00. I speak English. I can be on from 4:00PM to 6:00PM on the weekdays (Monday-Friday) and from 6:00PM to 11:00PM on weekends (Saturday-Sunday). I have been playing on Mineverse for 3 years and I have never been banned. I have never been a moderator or a staff member on any other servers but I understand the role and behavior of a moderator. I would like to moderate Kit PvP and Factions. Why should I be a moderator? (I don’t feel that listing numerous positive characteristics is explanation for this question. This is an application, not a dictionary.) There are countless moderator applications, yet there is a lack of moderators on to support the problems of the players. I understand that you must evaluate each and every single one, but there is never anyone to help in-game. There aren’t enough moderators present at certain times when players need help which is one reason I should become a moderator. I also believe that I should become a moderator because I understand the servers I play on and I am very familiar with the game. I know the objectives and rules and what is needed to become successful on those servers. I understand the needs of an average minecraft player. When I talk about needs, I talk about the various problems and questions people may have about the game. I will be able to solve any predicaments players may have or help them work towards a solution. These are skills that all moderators need in order to be effective. The moderator’s purpose is to be a problem solver, a mediator, and most importantly, a listener. A moderator must solve all problems, settle arguments, listen to any suggestion or questions about the servers to help it function better. I can carry out these tasks efficiently and successfully. I have stated what I am able to do without explaining how. Well, in order to settle disputes, one must first allow for communication. Listen to each party and determine what is being argued. Determine if there is any evidence of any wrongdoing. Although it is cliché, compromise is always the first response to a disagreement. Try to find a solution that both parties will be satisfied with. If one of the parties has broken a rule, they should be banned (temporarily or permanently based on severity). If someone has a problem with the server itself, listen to the problem yourself and offer feedback or direct them to the forums. Speaking as a player, I find a certain comfort and anxiety at the same time when there is a moderator on. The moderators keep order yet allow others to know that if they have a problem, they can always speak to them. They are a respectable authority figure. I feel that I would be right for this role because it is a given that you must be able to uphold the rules and I can achieve that. Yet, I am also very approachable. I treat others with respect and never use harsh words or vulgar language. Using kinder words allows for others to be comfortable around you and that is a significant attribute of an authority figure. Not only does a moderator answer questions, but they reach out and discuss certain topics amongst their peers. You want to know how they feel about the server, you initiate the discussion instead of them coming to you. This is a good skill that I contain that will help better the person you talk with and the server itself. When you're in a conversation, you will be able to get feedback from a person and perhaps assist them simultaneously. I believe that I have the skills to become a moderator and the characteristics come with it. In order to achieve the skills needed to become a moderator, you must be helpful, benevolent, considerate, compassionate, intellectual, tolerant, sympathetic, amiable, benign, accommodating, welcoming, receptive, engaging, genial, convivial, jovial, companionable, sociable, accessible, supportive, cooperative, etc. I think you get the point. Overall, I think I would be a benign moderator and a beneficial addition to the server.

If you believe you have the skills to become a moderator, then i consider you to follow the template above.
