He can have his own statements and viable reasons, I was merely stating the beliefs and views of Cyp + Crew as we have used it before.
While I understand all of this and know that it is an issue, players will still be victim to spawner stealing even if we install this and this just further increases those chances without adding other protection involved plugin wise. The plugin has already been tested and used by Crew + Cyp and as such they weren't happy with the results and because of this I highly doubt they'll come back to it even if there was a solution for it due to their previous unhappiness with the plugin itself. I'm not saying it isn't a possibility at all, but an unlikely one unfortunately as the plugin does help in many situations.
Couldn't the thief grief his spawer and totally destroy it anyways? There would be NO spawner at all, at least if this were installed, the plugin would keep the stolen spawner in existence (i.e. Enabling mods to deal with the situation)
While it may be their fault we are ultimately at blame since we installed that plugin. People will always be at fault and vulnerable to scams, deceit, and players with ill intent. We have to plan ahead and as I said while this plugin may be useful it opens another window for players to scam and harm others.
Of course they could, but then we could just log the broken spawner and deal with it. The issue we were running into was that people who break the spawner using this plugin didn't leave logs, nor was it traceable. This allowed them to get away with not only destroying, but stealing the spawner.
Considering how busy you guys are, it would be near impossible to log all my lost spawners that I had to break in order to stop my fake but real OCD.
Well at least they're able to be logged. The main issue as I did just state above was that most of the time it wasn't able to be logged, thus making theft a real possibility and being able to get away with it. It just had to many glitches and issues for us to work with it effectively. I do like the idea though and if a plugin that is more secure and polished comes out, or updates are made then we can definitely consider it again.
So I'm entitled to lose more money by misplacing spawners? I'm not saying I have a fidgeting problem but your mouse slides and that 5 dollars is down the drain. Ill try to be more careful but you guys should really consider this.
As I've already said we have considered it, used it, and didn't like it as of right now. If it gets fixed, or another solution pops up Cyp + Crew may consider it again. That is all I can say, sorry. If you lose a spawner and have proof or a moderator to check it we can refund them.

Um. We need this is Factions... To mine natural spawners. Or if you over-claim a base you can mine the spawners..
I remember being naive and thinking a silk touch pick would allow me to move one...RIP spawner haha. I would love to find a solution to the issue, but sounds like need to do some digging into what may work without opening too many doors for shall we say, less than honorable, players.
