This will benefit the server, as there aren’t a lot of staff members in Europe. What languages do you speak? Dutch, English, and a little French with a hunch of German. Why do you think you should become a mod? I’d like to remind you that this comes myself, and other players who have worked along with me personally. Dedication. I have always been dedicated to my job as well as my work on Mineverse. I’ve always the forum website and helping players with their issues. I am always on the forums working to help players with any issues I am able. I don’t just quit. I work hard and keep moving forward until I achieve my goal. A good example would be my ‘’Dream Pc Setup’’ I’ve put together a dream setup from monitors, keyboard, desktop, etc. This will take time to build. Not to mention the amount of money required for this project. ($12,000). This will take time and effort, and dedication. But I won’t give up. Just like I will never give up on this server. Experience/XenForo experience. I’ve dealt with various servers *(names I won’t advertise)* all using XenForo on their forum websites. Having experience in this software I believe is a large benefit given what is asked of the Moderators. Managing issues with BuyCraft and further donation issues gave me experience in not only administrative work, but also different types of personalities asking for help. Respect towards players/Friendly. No matter what country, civilization, culture, or gender. I will always respect and treat you as everyone else. Respect is something you earn. Nevertheless, I will remain professional in my work as a staff member. You can’t bribe me into an unban. No matter if you’re a friend, if you break a rule you face the consequences. And you learn from these mistakes. Experienced in my chosen gamemodes. I have chosen only one gamemode to moderate which is Survival. I’ve always preferred this gamemode over others. I started playing Survival over a year ago and have never had the urge to leave. I watched the community grow and they watched me grow, too. I am well-known in the Survival community which gives me the advantage of authority. I am well-known with all the commands/permissions/bugs in Survival. Also, to help the (new) players of Survival I suggested [/] kit starter. Noobcrew accepted the suggestion that very day. Many people use this kit and I feel proud I had the chance to improve the gamemode. Lack of staff. We’ve seen multiple staff members either demoted or resign in the past few weeks. I believe it is time for new, fresh, and excited players to work along with the staff team and improve the server. Enforcement of the F.A.Q. Players are often unaware of the rules and regulations regarding Mineverse.com. Having the title of Moderator (or any given staff rank) you are expected to enforce the rules. I’ve read the rules multiple times. I have broken these on the forums a few times. But I have learned from my mistakes and want to make sure players learn from their mistake. Professionalism/Responsibility. Being a moderator requires certain traits such as: Responsibility, Maturity, Professionalism, and Friendliness. Moderators are expected to act professional no matter the circumstances. I will always remain calm when being situated with a difficult player who is trying to provoke a fight/argument. It doesn’t matter how close you are to me, if you break a rule, I am forced to step in and take action. Mature. I’ve heard various people say I am immature, disrespectful, etc. I’ve apologized to the community for my immature behavior and rude comments. I’d like to start fresh, with a new and mature personality. Maturity is a very important trait as a staff member. Without maturity a moderator is unreliable and not trustworthy. Helpful/Reliable. Survival doesn’t have a staff member as for right now which leaves players clueless with what the purpose of Survival actually is. Players don’t have anybody to ask for help nor does Survival have a moderator. I have always loved to help people on the forum website, and in-game. I intend to do this even if I am not accepted as a moderator. The rank of staff would only benefit to me as it would ban, kick, or mute players even faster. I also enjoy scouting out the help section on the forums to see if anybody has a question. How long can you be active on the server every day? • Weekdays: 4-6 hours. • Weekends. 8-10 hours. If this were to change, I will inform the staff ASAP. How long have you been playing Mineverse?I started playing on August 1st of 2013. Have you ever been banned in the past? No, I haven’t. I plan to keep my records clean. How will I benefit Mineverse? Keeping the chat safe and clean. Communicating with the players. Gaining more friends though helping people Greeting and helping new players. Handling situations to the best of my ability even if I have to use commands. Making Mineverse a more safe environment for players. Do you have past experience as a moderator? Yes, I do. I’ve been an administrative employee of one major server, and moderator/helper on a few smaller servers. This has given me experience in various personalities and commands. If I am ever stuck or don't know how to reply in a conversation regarding a player who needs help, I will always address the help of a fellow staff member. Which two servers would you like to moderate? I’ve picked only one server as I spend most of my time on this server. Survival. – Survival doesn’t have any staff members. I’ve seen a staff member maybe two weeks ago? But he/she left after a few minutes. I am a very active player, and well-known within the Survival community, giving me an advantage with addressing the players who are offending a rule. If I had to choose a second servers, it would either be Creative or Skywars. Additional commentary.I'd like to remind you that I am applying for Survival. I have a lot of experience on this server along with the community. I'm quite well-known on this server, and I help them daily. I often play the ''middle man'' when two people trade. Whenever I make a mistake I try to learn from this, and see how I could improve myself in the future. "Respectful of players" Um.. no, you're a condescending prick who tries to act mature in order to be better than others in the community. What I see coming from you in the future as a staff member would be you trying to be better than the rest of the staff, but since you're condescending towards players you wouldn't just stop at trying to be a good staff member(Learning from mistakes and taking criticism), no, you would ignore the players and tryhard at what you thought would be right. I don't really care if you rate this negatively or disagree, it's how I see it, I can't support you or this application.
I respect your feedback. Sorry you think of me as a ''condescending prick'' I never meant to come across this way. I would never ignore players nor would I turn my back on them. As for the ''trying to be better than the rest of the staff'' that is false. The current staff team has more experience than I do on Mineverse, dealing with the report section and management of the server. I would actually seek their help and learn from my mistake, or their guidance. Maybe I can change your mind someday. #Ares.
