I would support, but the reason why i'm saying this is because, people have already changed their in-game names already and they would repeat over and over again. I will think about my support.
If it didn't work out for mods on Hellblock it won't work at all with donors. And they'll just be a s*** ton of nick abuse in the end.
Moderators back in the day were able to use /nick. This was part of the reason Pownthorian and Cueball2001 got demoted (Also for not doing their jobs correctly). Point is, if Moderators couldn't handle /nick, then donors can't either. In short, no support.
no, how do you report a nickname... even with /realname if the player wants they just change their ingame name and boom they just avoided a possible ban. If some one wants a nick then they can change their name since buycraft recognizes uuid's and not names.
Hm, I do like the idea. I'm neutral on this for now. And there is a way to find out a players old name even when they have changed it.
Okay... They can change it to something very inappropriate then change it back the very next second, so you wouldn't have enough time to type /realname (name) I would support IF They can add like a /nick cooldown... Like 30 seconds would be fine.
Hmm, they should keep it atleast perm if you want to change it and let the mods, only nick them btw I think you should change it to all the donors
Neutral for some reasons. Pro: The thread you were talking about mine so support. It will be fun. You said pressing tab shows the real player's name. Con: People will use inappropriate names. ^^^ Even if some are blocked, people are creative enough to leave out a single letter so the name isn't blocked. For example maybe ... Bish instead of ya know... ^^^
... the amount of titans and gods are alot... Compare that to the amount of the staff... The staff will get spam of "Can You change my nick?" :/
No support - (I'm divided, but the cons out weigh the pros. ) With Mojang implementing the ability to change your name , this wouldn't be necessary.
Support. BUT We should only be allowed to use it 2 or 3 times. This way it doesn't cause any confusion. If we wish to do it after that we would have to contact the Owners, Admin or Kato.
