The reason behind losing your donor rank is because MV uses buycraft to promote. So essentially you lose the rank you purchased and are given another rank in BuyCraft set up just as any purchasable rank with moderator permissions. You are given the "Mod" rank. The mods that are promoted on one/two servers are promoted using /pex instead of buycraft witch is why they are able to have access to their kits. (to the best of my knowledge) I was Eleite before I was given my Mod tag. While staff I was unable to use that rank. It was a sacrifice all of us made to serve the community.
