Please reset Mineverse back to the original versions and please get a new host. Mineverse community, so as I have been complaining about how Mineverse is falling apart. Certain people that did a lot in the community are now quitting because of major mistakes. I probably think you switched it to 1.8 so no hackers can go on it but it won't make the community any happier. Lag every day, hackers everywhere. We understand change is difficult, but not changing would cause much more complications. Things are seemingly rough right now, but were still testing things out, give it time, and you'll realize all is in safe hands.
@CypriotMerks has already stated they are never downgrading and will continue to update all servers to 1.8. It may seem bad right now, but with a bit of work, they should be able to fix most of the issues.
Sometimes you guys got to change for what makes the server / MV community happy. Another complaint, mod inactivity and hackers. If you guys can fix that, I'd be greatly appreciated. Mineverse is my favorite server, I don't want it going down like this. Changing makes stuff worse in my opinion. You don't have to listen to my opinion, but at least recruit more people that are really active and would change the MV server / community!
Believe me, the community would not be happy when Minecraft updates again. It could be a handy solution, but it won't happen. As for the other complaints, mod inactivity is usually around for a valid reason, best left private. If Cyp feels mods are inactive for invalid reasons, there will be some consequences. As for hackers, that's something we're trying to crack, but people have to learn that it'll never go down to a point where people feel happy. Sorry about that, but feel free to report any hackers, and we'll deal with them. Like I said, just wait, all will be resolved if you can all be patient.
It's not about losing gear or not. This server at least needs to be more cleaner. This server is getting out of hands. At least recruit more people to help the server stay clean! Don't run a server / participate in supporting the server if you're not doing anything. Every single day I'm on, no mods are active, every single day. I know they got school / work but at least make time to help out your server. MV is getting worse and worse every day by lag, exploits, mod inactivity etc.
That's true. I'm like you on most days (until my computer broke) and I hardly saw any mods. I think thr server would do better when the problems have been felt with and when more mods are recruited and active.
