Where are the staff?

Daily I wake up to spambot threads that have been open for hours. On average, 6-10 threads throughout the morning hours.
This one bot had made 3+ threads all with the same title that had sat for more than an hour even after the bot was banned. The threads just stayed.

As a staff member I feel it's important to "watch" every forum. Why? Because every forum deserves moderation. If you watch the forum you will receive a notification every time a thread is made. Thus making it easier to moderate and also see spambot threads as they are made.

When I was staff(and still even now) I watched every forum section. It was my job to moderate this site. It's your job to moderate it now. I shouldn't have to report 6-10 threads daily.

These forums need major help. The staff seem to be just as inactive here as they are ingame.

Tagging @ScoFu13 because this is your staff team. You may not pick and choose every staff that gets promoted, but it's your job to make sure they are doing their job efficiently and actively.
These mods need better training.
I shouldn't have to be the one to tell them these things.

 

I already watch every forum and report spambot posts, some staff just aren't on in the mornings for certain timezones, another reason is because most of the staff are too young to be able to go on in the mornings(School), so that's an issue.

I'm almost always watching each forums at the peak time of spambots, unfortunately, they're usually around the times I should sleep. I can understand the frustration, I'll try and get more of them now.

I'd like to bring up the help section ;-; the help section is not receiving any "help" what so ever. It has 14 pages of people needing help that aren't getting any from the staff.

 

Players help more than staff there :p. The most "help" I've received is to lock a thread.

I see you on forums ALL the time. It's more than just your responsibility. These staff are supposed to share in the work.
I know there have been many threads made about "crappy staff" but I honestly think the issue is the one who is leading the poor example.
When I ran this crew we were a team.
We loved eachother and worked hard for eachother. Almost never having issues or drama within the team.
I trained and respected each and every staff member that was added to our little family.

Things now just seem different.
Like the staff are forever at each others throat. I can't understand why.

If they were shown/given love from their head mod they would show it and it would show in their work.

Unfortunately I don't see it.
I see expectations and constant talking down from the head mod when he should be training and building them up.

Well anyway I think the Staff team needs a change. I almost never see mods in-game and so I try to help new/old members whenever I can/warning people etc. I would like to see you as a moderator

@ScoFu13 does most of the work though against spambots and certain game modes are in need of more mods than others.

No I believe adding more mods or keep track of your current mods to make sure they're active? Maybe a three strike warning?

I'm currently support/admin for a large server. I run the forums/site, promote/demote, run the staff team and manage the BuyCraft issues.
I know the back and front end of Xenforo well and I'm a no lifer. xD

Moderators do have a warning system between themselves that Cypriot gives if he notices that you've done somethign faulty. It's just not visible for the players.

EDIT, Pile, I've pressed 'Report' button so many times today because of spambots, grave dug threads and otherwise locking. It's like the moderators need some lessons in how to delete, ban and archive.

I think it's an issue of time zones and overall poor training.
These kids just need to be shown what to do and given a little tlc. <3

 

Stands next to Pile and raises hand too! I have so many ideas and can help in so many ways if I will just be given a chance. I don't need a title, anything special. I am more than willing to work behind the scenes. One day if yall get the time, I would love to do a Skype (or whatever app) meeting and kick around some ideas. This server is a wonderful community and could be simply amazing.
