Your thread pretty much explains what commands and abilitys all the mods currently have but they are all inactive and don't fufil there roles well Enough so essentially I am Correct we need more mods that actualy do the job

But what I am Also trying to find out is what the job exactly is, becuase the example these mods are giving is that you just sit there and talk.

Here's how it needs to work.

Global moderators are gone, instead mods pick one or two servers they wish to moderate. The so call head mod should work out with them who moderates what so everything is covered. This way each server receives moderation and not just a few.

Creative and Parkour are still globally moderated.

Still, the current moderators can't even do their job.
We are not staff it is not up to us to record hacker, it is a choice given to us, however for staff is is there job but they don't do it making the server a sh** environment.

@Badlerner what do you dislike about this comment? Because it's bloody true. You may just be the only one that isn't like this but the other are.

I agree that mods aren't active enough, but this whole "pvp mod" thing is pretty pointless. No support.

I rarely see mods on OPFactions so i think that this is a good idea but some of the perms are not that great

It isn't a job, when it's a job you have to get payed. The staff are voluntary workers. The corrct term would be task not job.

Then you don't play OPFactions. @Badlerner is the most active mod on opfactions. I have seen him online nearly every day in the past month but, sadly he doesn't have perms there. @Matrix you got to be active yourself, which you aren't, before saying other people aren't active when they clearly are.

Alright time for my input. I see both sides of the situation have put up good arguments, but what side to pick?

You know what, stuff needs to change, I'm sick of lazy mods. If people are to be promoted, they should be tested. Nowadays a good application gives you a promotion, well guess what good English doesn't mean good mod. A good mod should be HONEST, MATURE, RESPECTFUL, TEACHABLE, and ABLE TO TELL IF SOMEONE IS HACKING. As a mod you are not here to try and socialize while on the "job", it may not be a job but it isn't a joke. This server is filled with hundreds of users and you are supposed to be an example to them. I personally used to look up to staff, now I don't know some of them don't deserve it no offense but by applying you agreed to do your job and I'm pretty sure on most applications I see time that they can be active is 5 hours. Well prove you're that active, and honestly that's why I closdd my application I am a busy person and can't commit that kind of time. We don't necessarily need PvP mods. I've seen a lot of arguments on how /vanish could be abused, you know what, why were they picked for staff if they aren't trustworthy and arenot given perms because they'll abuse them. Come on are you seriously telling me you won't add /v cause it'll be abused is the staff team calling each other untrustworthy? Cause that's plain sad. If the staff can't be trusted get people who can be. Our staff team may not be perfect but it's by work that you get better but in this situation they aren't putting time into it sooo they don't get any better, we need dedicated staff. Don't apply if you can't take the pressure and be an example. You may not agree with my opinion but it's the sad truth, I wish it weren't. Staff need to be tougher on hackers, if they were it would minimize hackers because first off some would be banned and the others would stop out of fear of being banned.

What I'm saying is it would be nice if staff got /v and the staff that are promoted need these qualities, being respectful, honest, active, considerate, mature, trustworthy, and they must be teachable, you know why, because if theh make a mistake they can learn. I dare you to disagree or dislike this, you know it's true and you can't argue with it, there is no argument to be made here.
