Alts are EASY to get. Especially cracked ones... I think that if someone scams money, their balance should be reset. If it is like... A set of p4, then obviously not. It would encourage people not to wager their 35k for $300 hence preventing scamming. If only their was more mods that were trusted, mods with Perms. This would make it a whole lot easier...
I don't really see a point to this at all, yes, scammers "have" to be stopped, but honestly, if you want to avoid getting scammed, here are some tips that will help you: 1) Don't go making ridiculous deals with people: If somebody says they'll accept 10k on OP-Factions for a God upgrade.. they're obviously lying, as you get more for a /vote..., if somebody says they'll trade a set of god armor for a Special kit.. yea.. no. 2) If you see people repeatedly messaging in public chat for deals, instead of asking friends if they'll make the deal, they are most likely a scammer.. js. This rule can easily be abused by just making multiple alts and claiming you've been mass-scammed, it's amazing what people try to get away with, and in turn this will just cause more work for Moderators, not less, and more waiting time for actual appeals/reports that need to be handled, the system is fine as it is now, reports aren't being handled as frequently however, so don't implement change where it's not needed.
Any balance should be reset if you are caught scamming. If you have 35k, and you scam $300, well.. The 35k should be cleared aswell. That is the punishment. It will make scammers think twice about doing so.
Nope who really cares if they scammed high it would be unfair if they got banned longer they should be unbanned in the time everyone else would
Rei You're saying something very stupid, If you scam you have to be banned, and its not the same thing Being Hacking and Being Scaming. Its diferent when you hack with when you scam. Scamers Get Stuff and when Mods unban them 2 days later, they have all that stuff. So yea ill Scam "I Have scammed 10k KitPVP money, Ban Appeal: Oh sorry mods i wont du dat again, Unbanned and now i have 10k Just Crying" No one really care about Armours but Things harder to get like Money, everyone care that kind of things. Anyways there is no reason to rate me Dumb, Because i just posted my opinion and im not a dumb because of doing that.
i THINK that they should only be unbanned if they pay the money back. I've currently been scammed 3k on kitpvp by @Eongod and i know he'll be unbanned and get away with the money. It's totally unfair.
NOTICE: I know this was gravedug but I feel the need to address the situation considering it is a serious matter. If you are to read this it is simply my opinion and how I see this. Hello there, I'd like to introduce you to my opinion. Players who scam money should be banned, I agree. Their "sentence" should be as long as all others but if it were a money scam, and there was enough evidence provided to prove it, the player who was scammed should be given his money back and the banned player should have his balance wiped. I understand some people made arguments on not resetting their balance, my argument to that is, are you saying that if you scam you should not be punished? If you scam that is at your own risk and is your problem. I would also like to add one more thing hackers should have everything reset on the server when caught, except their rank. This would make it so that all items were obtained fairly including money. I do not know if any of this is already in place but this is what I have to say on the matter. If you're saying no support to this, it means that you're scared of losing your stuff or whatever because you scammed. How about you support it, let it be changed, and don't be stupid and scam. It's a complete (fill in the blank) move to do that. I support highly cause I hate getting scammed it makes my hard work not pay off and make me want to quit the server. But knowing they have to pay for what they did makes me feel good.
