So I've seen a lot of threads about leaving and the server dying and all that crap, but there's no actual reason for it or anything, most threads are just a sentence or even a few words from people half the community had no clue existed. I understand if people feel the need to tell people they're quitting, even if they don't have a reason, but when it gets to the people where there's 30 threads with a few words in them it just gets annoying to look at. If there is an actual, intelligent reason to be leaving, just make a status and start a private conversation with those close to you, no need to make a big deal out of something if you're not even going to explain it:
Posting a thread about people posting threads.. If they want to leave and say why they can. Nothing wrong with that :p
Brings down new players with all this "The server is dying" talk, most posts generally don't even discuss why they're leaving, some even go as far as saying that they don't want to talk about it which I find a bit bold considering you're making a thread about it.
That's because kids on the internet feel the need to dramatize their lives. I agree that things are being taken out of proportion but not that it should be penalized .
Tbh they could just make a status about it, if you actually cared that much you'd read it and ask why.
I agree with this but if this doesn't work out, instead of posting it in the "Introductions" section of the forums (which it clearly isn't anything to do with an Introduction) they should put it in off-topic. Other wise support.
Not just that, they say "The server is dying" "The server is taking a turn for the worst" that's what I think is irritating most people.
Or they could just make a "Goodbye" section. We had one on Skyblock for a little bit. Though I don't think it ended well. A lot of people quit the server everyday or just log in once and never return. No one notices.
A goodbye section would be good, I just find that it's annoying with the sections getting spammed with these threads when half of them aren't really anything, just mostly attention seeking.
