      Moderator Application - zeldaninjamonkey
Hello Mineverse, after getting to know a lot of you, I have finally made my official moderator application, since now I will have a lot more time playing Minecraft, than other games. Mineverse has been very good to me and it is very enjoyable, so I am all for dedicating a lot towards it.

      How old are you? 13

      Your in-game name: ZeldaNinja
What timezone are you in? Hawaii-Aleutian Time Zone (UTC-10:00)
What country do you live in? USA, Hawaii
What languages do you speak? English

Why do you think you should become a mod?
What mainly got me thinking is the number of scammers/hackers out there when I am on, and the occasional lack off moderators on some servers. I also believe that I'd make a great mod for these reasons...

Honesty - I know, I know, this is on the top of everyone's list, but for good reasons. I am very honest in all my activity in game and in the real world. I think a good mod needs to be trusted as well as trustworthy. The style I play Minecraft isn't to be on the top or be the best, rather to have a fun time and experience with other players, so things such as lying and being dishonest is very poorly looked upon my me.

Respectful - In any situation, respect is key. I overall view myself as a respectful, and respectable person. As I might be right in some situations, I know my place and respond accordingly, and try to stay calm and respectful since anger can lead to a bias or unwillingness to help/solve a problem.

Mature - Another top tier, but equally as important. Some of you, as I well know, probably have bad experiences with 12/13 year olds, and I really can't blame you. In my school there are tons of immature people, which at times can get very out of hand. I am not like those people, instead I like to use my smarts for a more productive cause. Another issue in this category is that, not in a mean way, some of the younger people can be naïve, which is bad when given responsibility. I know the limits to "jokes" and when they get to out of hand. I all together avoid course jesting altogether.

Good Leadership - Leadership has always been a big trait in me. I like to take initiative and I like being a good role model to people. I believe that in a position of a moderator, leadership is a key trait. As a leader, as well, there needs to be decisiveness paired with wisdom. If someone was to, let's say, just look at the surface and decide without knowing much, there decision could negatively affect others. So yes, leadership plays a big role in moderating and in general life.

Problem Solver - Problem solving is an important key when moderating, understanding gameplay, or situation organization, is key when assisting players. I personally, am a very experienced Minecraft player both in single player and multiplayer, meaning that I have the knowledge in game to sort out problems such as 'why can't I use this command' or 'how does this work'. Now moving on to out of "game" problems such as verbal abuse or cyber bullying. I personally hate it when flame wars come out, when I have to watch as complete strangers say things that no one would ever dare say in real life. As it is important to punish those, we don't want to punish the wrong person. That's when investigation comes in, looking for in game evidence, witnesses, and then putting it all together. As I have seen sometimes (not necessarily on this server, or even minecraft), lots of innocent people get punished. I am good at investigating issues and can provide good help in even the most complicated situations.

Humor - I'm just going to throw this one out there, I love making people laugh. I think humor plays a big role, lighting up people's mood, and just having general fun with others. Although humor is important, I know when it is not appropriate. I know how to make sure it doesn't get in the way of problems and situations. Although this isn't essential I still think it helpful when interacting with the community

Dedication/Availability - I have noticed that mods sometimes jump from server to server, which is a good thing, but could be a bad thing. Thanks to the only 2 server update, if I were to become a moderator, I would spend all my time on Minecraft on those to servers, and of course a split amount of time so I have time to do both. Therefore I can deal with situations on the specified servers with more time at hand. I am also purely playing Minecraft, with the exception of checking the forums, and not doing other things like texting people or being of task, in other words if you would see my name that would mean I'm not AFK

Experience - As a Minecraft player I have a lot of experiences with things such as hacks. I pretty much know all the hacks from Kill Aura - Free cam, and how to determine if one is using them or not, signs such as they are hitting me to fast or when I'm behind them, they are viewing inaccessible thing, etc. I am also familiar in ways people lie and try to get out of a situation or trouble, playing on Prison, or other servers dealing with money, there is a lot of scammers out there (that's another thing), and I know little things that give them away, such as a strange chat pattern, unwilling to specifically describe something, or making something intentionally unspecific. Having this sort of knowledge is useful when enforcing rules and investigating.

Determination - This is more of a life trait, but still it plays a good role in everything you do. I, personally, am a very determined person, when I start something I have to get it done unless impossible. As this also is important, since most roles that are required of a mod can be tiring, frustrating, or even stressful, it is good to have determination or not a lot will get done.

How long can you be active on the server every day?

      Sunday- None
      Monday- 2-3 hours
      Tuesday- 2-3 hours
Wednesday- Either none or 2-3 hours
      Thursday- 2-3 hours
      Friday- 4-5 hours
      Saturday- 4-5 hours
      5+ hours on forums everyday

How long have you been playing Mineverse? I have been on Mineverse for 6-7 months and 6 months on the forums
Have you ever been banned in the past? Not yet :D

Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I have moderated on some of my friend's servers, both not active recently, but not on main servers. Most recently though, I am severing Co-owner/Owner for Cryptic's server (as many of you know ) [This although only gave me a opportunity to familiarize myself with commands if anything]

Which two servers would you like to moderate? I would like to moderate OP prison and Creative (edit) since those are the servers I play on everyday, creative lacking any mods, and OP prisons, being busy, wouldn't hurt with an extra. Another solution I am willing to comply with, is just creative moderator.

Thank you guys so much for viewing my application, put ideas and what you think below, I love and appreciate the support; it means a lot,(if you don't support it would help a lot to tell me why, and how I can improve), thank you again and may God bless.

This is a very detailed and well thought out application. Support.

But one thing I would suggest is maybe toning down the colours a bit?

      Good luck!

      Hi.
Maybe just space it out a little more.
Also, getting Moderator can take up to 7 months, just so you know.
Also, try not to advertise your app.
      I support you, goodluck.

Support! Very detailed application, except, try not to give TOO many ratings to a single person.
      Good Luck :).

Yes you are, but could I have a reason why you don't have support other than "you don't like me".
