Skyblock nether portal

I built a nether portal in skyblock and it says i havent completed the challenge and i can enter the nether.

I heard that people can travel to the nether in skyblock is that true?

The nether is disabled in the Skyblock server.

 

There is a bug. My friend was able to go in the nether. He didn't have a pick on him, only a sword, he killed a ghast by flying (He is God) and he got a ghast tear. He went back through the portal to get a pick but he didn't get back into the nether. Someone please fix this bug before people are able to get illegal items.
