Server tips: Not Quitting

Lmao because the people leaving, Half of them are still on the forums.
Also moderating isnt an easy job, it takes work, maybe realize it before you try to tell them how to do their job. Last I recalled they had the rank and you don't. They know what they're doing. Just if you guys wouldnt rage so much about it they wouldnt be under pressure.

 

Besides, it's not all of the moderator's fault. As I said before, the owners and co-owners need to come together and fix a few things. Like donation glitches, I am STILL awaiting their responses. If you say I'm impatient, that's true. But I have the right to become it, it's MY money that I spent. My money that supports their server, I'd like to get what I paid for, and not have to wait a week now.

 

Where do you see rage.... I'm wondering. Also some mods dont know what they are doing and are barely active

 

Thats cyps job to pay attention to the moderators activity. Some are inactive for reasons. They'll tell you in statuses or threads.
And not rage on this thread, but I've seen rage.

 

Infact, I have had many experiences being a moderator. Why do you think I'm saying all these things. Check my first post on this thread, and tell me those things aren't right. They need to fix some things, and act now, or the server is going to shrink.

Wow you a rude and immature, and don't even play this server much, please don't make assumptions if you haven't experienced it first hand. I don't want to turn this into an argument, but I am just giving my opinion and there is no reason to have a whole debate about this, really, if I was a mod, I wouldn't be posting on things and saying things I didn't know about. The mods ARE immature (in my opinion), and you are defending the mods by rejecting my opinion. I don't want this to be a flame war, but if you are going to keep arguing and saying stupid comments, please go away. I know you are a mod on sky block, but does that really mean you deserve it? I am just saying my points on why I may be quitting, everyone else is saying don't leave, and you are arguing with me not caring what I do. Please stop posting here if you are just going to argue with us. It really is starting to annoy me, now I want to quit even more.

 

Oh I forgot to talk about the ratio of hackers to legit pvpers on kitpvp...

 

There's no way to stop it. Sure, get more mods to moderate on KitPvP, but does that really solve the problem? No. Sure the hackers will get banned but they will just keep coming back on different accounts. There's a website where you can get hundreds of alternate accounts for only a few dollars. "Oh, but what about IP Bans?" Simple answer, VPNs. There is no way to stop these hackers from getting on.
Sorry for sounding hostile but all the people complaining about the hackers have gotten annoying.

All of the points you've shown on this thread are common sense situations.
If someone is obviously being rude, then report them. Simple.

You mentioned you were banned, because of a homophobic term. Well, I don't tolerate derogatory terms, but it was the moderator's decision report, each moderator has their own opinions on handling reports.

I'm assuming the inactive mod is me. I would like to point that I was inactive for IRL/Internet issues, if that was pointing at me. I apologize for my inactivity.
Not to mention that every staff member has a life. (Of course)

Immaturity with moderators. Yes, I know moderators are supposed to be mature, but that doesn't mean we have to be mature off-screen. Mineverse isn't associated with outside sites such as Skype, etc.
If you see any staff member acting immature on the forums or in-game, then report them. Not that difficult.

I don't get why everyone complains about this. Most servers you go on, there will be hackers.

Every SINGLE one of the kool kids klan (my buds) are leaving because of the server.
Mineverse is turning rotten. If I get warning points for this comment I don't care.
There are SOO many rude people on Mineverse now. Infection is dumb with all the Titans and Gods using kits every game.
And you can't egg twice so basicly Titans and Gods Pay2Win.
I also nearly forgot to mention how long have P8-P10 been broken?
Don't get me started with KitPvP: Scammers, Ranters, Spammers and Show-Offs..
Also as Cyrp said on KitPvP the spawn is just old and boring it isn't appealing to new players either. The amount of rage I got when you guys removed invis pots from kit tempest was up to the sky. Also splash pots don't work for? 1 WHOLE YEAR!
OPPrison is mine deprived.. K-O is VERY VERY VERY bad to get to P.

I agree with reason #3 the spawn needs to be changed its pretty boring and there is a way u could get stuck in the wall if u do /! on the fence next to the community chest and the splash potions dont work.. if it doesnt work why put splash potions?

 

First, I've never really known you, so I can't really say anything, and about the maturity thing, it was mineverse ts they were talking on, which IS associated with the server. I know that you can't all be perfect, but I expect a bit more from some of the moderators, and would like the mods not to be bias. The only reason I made this thread is to HELP the server, not argue or say bad things about it. I want the server to be good but it is frustrating when some people in the staff team aren't responsible as they should be.

If you find a mod being biased, I would honestly PM ScoFu or file a report.

But yes, I understand your views on the server.

I'm really gonna miss you. You are a fun guy to skype with and not braggy at all about your rank. I'm really bummed to see you leave. You did make a lot of good points and I think these should been seen by cyp/noob because they really need to fix them. Hopefully you will maybe come online every now and then. Maybe we can still talk and play on some different servers.
