I think that Dj has definitely settled into moderating quickly, whether or not that is a bad thing is up to everyone to decide on their own.
If you have a problem, just report it.

I think it is better for us to make this rule unable for guards to use so we don't have the problem anymore

 

I haven't noticed a problem with the other guards, but that's my opinion.
Maybe if you want something changed, you should all try to agree on what exactly that thing is.
I've seen some say no forum perms, no locking threads not related to prison, no replying to reports other than prison, not doing forums moderating, etc, etc. Try to all agree on some level, work on the wording of the original suggestion so it doesn't sound rude and unintelligent, and maybe post a different thread without the flame war.
That's just my two cents.

Ok I want to say some things about this.
1. We are marked as staff members on forums which means we got same permissions as moderators.
2. Guards always had ability to forum ban and I don't understand why we shouldn't be able to.
3. It's not your business to know when does djryan close something that is not in prison.

This is only my thinking, please do not hate if I said something that you dislike.

 

1. That's what we are trying to change. The guards are taking this personally.
2. It's the reasons they are forum banning that's the problem. This is why we need access to appeals/reports so we can compare and see what's happening.
3. It's our business indeed. It affects us, does it not? If a 'staff member' is abusing their perms, then of course we are allowed our opinions. We are the players after all.

Might I add, Guards are put in a position to moderate one server. Not all, one. Perhaps they should leave forum bans to the higher up staff who know the official process, have more experience, ect.

To be honest, there wasn't a problem until Ryan got staff. Anyway, that's enough.
