YOUTUBE Rank

I Really wanted Youtube rank on the server it will be great me and my friend recorded alot of mineverse videos and i interduced all of my friends to this server they really liked it so if youtube rank will ever exist that will be AMAZING thanks for reading and have a great day

 

This has been suggested multiple times, and I don't really like the idea of having a YouTube rank... But if we were to have one, the rank wouldn't be given out to just anyone who does videos. There would have to be a minimum subscriber thing.

 

Ok,or like the ones who were making from the start gets it,but you should have minimum for new ones,like for mine, I should get it,but donors can't get YouTube rank.

No 100 is enough 15k is a lot too much

 

I could be mistaken but I once saw Cyp write that 15k is good. We can't hand out YouTube ranks to just anyone.

I would be "ok" I guess with the idea provided there are enough subs there, but my questions would be to any youtubers that large...Why?

You basically are painting a target on yourself for spam messages, people trying to be seen and potentially just causing overall chat chaos.

If I was a youtuber, I would rather play as a normal person or perhaps get a small donor rank instead of a big flashy target.

 

Although if their was to be said "YouTuber," they would obviously be spammed for them and as you said, cause chaos. But what is in it for the YouTuber? Their fan base grows immensely and rapidly, bringing more popularity to their channel (also known as every YouTuber's main goal). That's really the main reason anyone would want a "YouTuber" rank.

 

Fair enough. I did not think of it in those regards. Unfortunately I'm an old man in the minecraft world so don't understand it as well.

 

In my opinion the rank should only go to people with 15k+ subs.

 

I think 15k is WAY TO MUCH I think like 5-8 k?

 

How bout 10k

 

When you are given YouTuber rank you are expected to make frequent videos on the server and help grow the player base on the server. Usually people within the 1-9k sub range don't have that many active subs. Without active subs, that player would be deemed undeserving of his/her rank of YouTuber since they are not fulfilling what is expected of them. Of course MV could have different expectations from YouTubers but I'm using this from my experience as an owner of a fairly popular server and just general knowledge. (I'm not much of a reliable source :p )

 

It's not going to happen unless a player has 20k Subs. Even then, it's still a maybe.
