I would like to propose the idea of /nick. Being on many other servers, I have noticed that a lot of donators have /nick. I think this would be fun, as you can get a nickname for your username. The commands needed would be /nick and /realname so you can tell which person is actually whom (/realname Mookie = Mookiezzx).

No Support, some players may not know how to check their actual in-game name.

People are way to likely to abuse the nick names.

So if I could name myself a name, and I did d*ckhead you think it would be ok for everyone on the server to see the name in chat?

it filters out names like that. Also they can be warned, if a mod or anyone see's a name like that it could be a bannable offense. and if they fail to read the server help, in which there could be a section about that, that is their lost

Tbh it will make our jobs way harder because we have to find the users real IGN before banning them.

I see flaws within this command and it most likely would be abused. No support.

Adding /nick to people who've donated would be way too complicated. Everyone would get confused who's who and there'd most likely be a lot of abuse. /nick doesn't have a chat filter, so its easy to use racial or sexual profanity in a nickname. As canucks said before me, it'd also be a bit more tricky to correctly find the name of someone who needs to be banned or muted.

    Ohh I see
Yeah I love the idea of nicknames, I'd suggest only being able to change it every day or so? That might cut the abuse a bit
