Why do you think you should become a mod?

I think I should be a mod because I spend hours every day on the server talking to lots of people, making reports, helping new players, and playing many different gamemodes. This is a lot of what a moderator does, and I think that I could contribute even more if I were one. Below are qualities I believe I possess that are crucial or at least helpful for a moderator to have. ​

Helpfulness: I'm always looking for ways to help people, with commands, gameplay, rules, and anything else. When someone in chat has a question or seems to need help in some area, I PM them, as I feel it's more personal and makes for better communication than public chat does. I try to talk in a way that is non-condescending and not overbearing, so that new players will feel comfortable requesting help again if they need it. I'm happy when I know players are having a better experience on Mineverse.
Responsibility: I will never let myself do less than my best when it comes to work. I will be online when I say I can be, answering players, handling reports, looking for any hackers, etc. Moderating is a lot of work, and I'm prepared to do that work and to handle the negativity that comes along with it. I also have a routine of getting all my schoolwork done before I play the times I've listed, so that I can be active on the server without getting behind in school.
Efficiency: I like to find ways to do work faster. And though efficiency is important to me, accuracy is more so. I have experience with this making reports quickly and accurately. As a moderator it would be my priority to handle reports quickly, so that rule-breakers cannot interrupt gameplay for other players.
Maturity: I'm pretty relaxed about Minecraft. I don't get worked up when people are rude or hack or break any rule. I just report it and move on, or respond positively to negative comments, because it's my goal to respect people no matter what they do. I don't let my own feelings get in the way of being friendly towards someone.
Non-bias: I will never be biased in punishment, whether it be for the benefit of the player or not. If someone is really my friend, they won't expect me to bend the rules for them. I will never be afraid to punish someone, if it's the right punishment, because I care more about making sure rules are followed than people's opinion of me.
Compassion: People are nicer when they're treated with kindness instead of apathy. I am always friendly to people I talk to, and I've found that compassion can turn a situation around entirely and creates a happier environment for everyone. I try to treat everyone I meet with the same amount of respect even when it seems kind of crazy.
Confidence: I'm not affected by hate. I will always take into consideration constructive criticism, but just general negative opinions don't bother me. I can be friendly without being a doormat.
Integrity: Honesty, both indirect and direct, is really important to me. I do make mistakes, but I will admit to them, and I never gossip. I don't put on a show, either. Who I am is who I say I am, and anyone who has known me very long can attest to that.
Dedication: I've been playing Mineverse for over two years now, and I still want to contribute to the server. I want to be a mod, not for popularity or power, but because I would love working with a team, especially one devoted to creating a better server for all players.

Thursdays: 6pm to 9pm
Fridays: 4pm to roughly 11pm
Saturdays: 8am to 3pm, 6pm to 10pm
Sundays: 8am to 8pm ​
