Should people have access again to reports/ban appeals again to be considered this time?

    1. People should have MORE access to report/ban appeals and rating to be considered

    2. People should have NO access to report/ban appeals and ratings should NOT be considered

The community in general is more important than anything here and so are there rights. Moderators in the Mineverse community are like Gods, everyone obeys them, and everyone should, but there are limits to this. How are Moderators going to make the right decisions if they don't even know the person? There not. This is why the community should be allowed to have access to ratings. For example: If a player/member of the community hacked, they would know, and by showing this a person would rate disagree or agree with the moderator or banning player. Of course, moderators still have to analyse the evidence and etc. But if the hacks are not clear enough, as for my report (on me) took about almost 2 weeks to decide. I believe this is when the ratings should be allowed to take a bigger role in this.

This would help a players such as myself. When the banning report (on me) was accepted, it was almost 2 weeks. The were about 14 dumbs, 6 disagrees and 2 winners. Then my ban appeal was not replied to after 3 weeks and said "You hack Skillbill. Admit to hacks or your ban appeal will be denied". That was 3 weeks! The moderator was obviously unsure in the decision, but she still made it with uncertainty. The ban appeal had roughly 12 agree's and 2 dumbs. You may think that the community is too immature to take this little responsibility in decisions with moderators. The reason for the amount of rated 'Dumbs' was because of this same person has reported me 15 times. The community knew this. Now if the moderators had known this, there could've been a completely different better outcome.

So please leave your opinions and thoughts on this and vote on what you think.

Yes if you got reported and you was'nt hacking you should be able to defend your self.

Support. I like the old way better, you were able to defend yourself and prove you were not offending.

I personally like to see the fail reports people make of me. Cause people always say I hack and they will report me.

If anything I'd say have it to where players can view the thread, not have permission to reply to it, and not be able to rate anything. So if a player spots anything a mod missed they can Pm the mod?
Other then that I like it the way it is

That's what the ban appeal is for, to state your case, a report is simple...

      1. Evidence is provided.
      2. Mod determines if evidence is valid.
      3. Mod issues correct punishment or rejects report.

There is no reason for anything else to happen in a report. No rating or comments from third parties or even people "related". Nothing is accomplished by this. So much of our time was wasted issuing infractions and deleting unnecessary comments. Then you guys cry about not being in game, well guess what, you were taking up more of our time for stupid reasons.

Your appeal is where you get to try to state your side, but by then, if you were banned.... guess what... there was valid proof. An extremely large majority of you will lie and swear you have no hacks or whatever but the proof is in the pudding. This is the internet and tons of people lie, because they can... and.. Not to be disrespectful, but a lot of kids lie habitually.

I'll admit, sometimes mistakes do happen and here and there they will continue to happen as were human and not machines. Continue to drive on and play your game.

It is not getting changed back. There is no need. Things are much smoother. I do think the archives should be viewable and will work on getting that changed so that those of you can see who is meeting bad and steer clear of them.

Well, that just seems unfair. You have the fact you get reported... and everybody especially yourself knows you don't hack.
Then you should be able to defend yourself... I got reported around 11 times... Everytime I didn't get banned because I defended myself. if I didn't defend myself. I would have got banned. because the first time i've got banned was the only time I didn't defend myself, so seeing reports is helpful, and by the way the first time I got banned it was incorrect. so... that just goes to show that most mods... can't tell whether they're hacking or not, and especially for me... who plays everyday for about 7-9 hours A DAY!!! I don't like getting banned for more then a day... It's frustrating.

      I think viewing ban appeals/reports should be allowed. Here's why;

•Firstly, the forums have becom a lot more boring. There is honestly nothing to look at. Even my brother asked me if he could look at some ban appeals and I had to tell him no.

•Secondly, I think no posts or ratings because if a player wants to supply more evidence, they would msg the mod. Sounds good.

•By people seeing the reports/ban appeals, they can tell in their community who is banned, who has previously hacked, ect. It isn't fair that I can't tell who is meant to be banned, why people who I've got banned are unbanned, ect.

•The archive NEEDS to go back to the way it was. It helped me a lot with reports, ect.

•If the forums were to go back to the way it was, then the reports would be a lot more accessible and well, colour codes for the recent promoted mods in their 2 servers. Take Quickflame for example, he would be able to access KitPVP reports in one click.

•As a concluding statement, reports/ban appeals/archive should be ACCESSIBLE AND SEEN, but no ratings or postings allowed. Thankyou.

We are not here to watch you wave the mighty "We're all human" flag. You can prevent them instead of that.
We know you make mistakes, we get it. But this is what I'm suggesting, this can help resolve those mistakes and can prevent them from happening from the following reasons I have stated. But if they're not needed, then no harm done, moderators can just ignore them.
One of the biggest reason for seeing reports, is to be able to defend your self. Moderators are not perfect, that's my point. Sometimes moderators need convincing talk with the player before the situation is handled. So if you do make a mistake, it doesn't go out in a huge flame war in a ban appeal.

Going on forums to look at ban appeals/reports was my biggest reason here to create a forum account for. People are interested in what's happening. It's not like it's 'Classified secret data'. There's no wrong doing in it. Some people like to look at what's going on, and to see what are moderators are dealing with. It's just browsing, and this will rise the forum activity by a lot.

The only thing I see happening is them being viewable, then players may pm a mod about their own report. I don't swing them being unlocked though.
