Hello, Rockerz here again, I was just thinking that people who create a thread should be able to close there own thread, I cannot think of anything that could go wrong with this idea. And it would be more efficient. As always Thank You, -Rockerz ;)
There is no separate command to lock your own thread. If you got the command to lock a thread, you could potentially lock anyone's thread for trolling and being an annoying, and I feel like everyone would abuse that. No Support.
Not true, CypriotMerks was thinking on doing this but didn't know if he should or not but it was only for locking your own threads. The reason behind him not really wanting to add it in is because users would have to put it in the right location to be archived instead of wasting staff's time to archive it.
That too. It could be a waste of time for moderators to go around and put it in the archive section. Maybe if he did add it, it would probably be to the members who are more familiar with the forums or have been here longer? It wouldn't be fair still.
No it would be fair as experienced users would have access and could lock there own threads without asking the Staff to do so.
I think maybe forums mods could Archive old threads so they wouldn't be bumped, they could lock threads where someone's been helped etc. if it were to just lock your own threads, I don't think that would be forums mod
There actually is. I support, but I would rather make it a higher rank only thing because some noobs might mess around with it.
No support... A moderator or staff member, kind of like pops said should be the only people be able to lock a thread.
Thread Locked on request. If you disagree to this action, please report this post, and a moderator or administrator will reconsider it. Kind regards, The Staff
