So, this thread is about the rules and something I've noticed that sort of contradicts them and makes a flaw, in the rules stated in the discussion section by Cypriot(Pasted below for your convenience) it states that anything goes in the free world, other than chat because it's global.

      Prison:

      • A bow or any sword besides a wooden sword in hand will result in 1-2 hours jail. Repeat offending will result in longer jails/possible temp ban.
      • Lava/Flint and steel/Water buckets caught in hand will result in a 24 hour jail. Repeat offending will result in longer jails/possible temp ban.
      • No selling contraband items. Prisoners caught selling will result in a 24 hour jail. Repeat offending will result in longer jails/possible temp ban.
      • Placing blocks/chests in the tree farms is an automatic ban. Only allowing return upon accepting his/her ban appeal.
      • Safe zone killing will result in a 24 hour jail. Repeat offending will result in longer jails/possible temp ban.
      • Teleporting non free prisoners to the free world or being caught in the free world when not a free prisoner will result in a ban. This includes and is not limited to flat lands, above and below prison walls, and the actual free world. Only allowing return upon accepting his/her ban appeal.
      • Being caught in the guard room or any other illegal location within the prison walls will result in a jail or ban dependent upon the specifics of the situation.
      • Possession of illegal items ie: Sponge will result in a hour jail.
      • Anything goes in the freeworld. :) (Chat rule still apply)
Now this can be an issue, because I've seen multiple people banned for hacking in the free world, and most recently a report on Tin was made because he tp'd to a person and tp'd players to record him hacking, now if anything goes, why would you need to record him? The rules state you're allowed to do whatever you want in the free world.. I don't see how it's allowed that people still get banned for it, I suggest you either change the rule or change what you're doing about reports for it.

One of the main rules is to use common sense across all servers lawl.

Oh, common sense tells me you're not allowed to force tp to players you "suspect" of hacking and tp others there, which lead to him being raided, and in the end he had to be unbanned because of the action.

Actually, tpa'ing because of suspected hacking is a part of the mods perms, lol. Using common sense is not to be accused with hacking (If you are) In the first place.

Global Offences - Refers to all servers.
      • Hacked clients are mostly disallowed. Some exceptions can be found
Hacking is clearly not allowed. I guess common sense should cover this, but people these days don't think logically. Good find I guess, but this rule over-rules all others.

Dj, you aren't allowed to force tp, you either see the player hacking yourself, tpa, or see a report, or it's not going to be kept a ban long.

I'm pretty sure this means the rules mentioned for the prison itself do not apply for free world. Global Mineverse rules still apply.

Although there are rules over-ruling it, I think this should be more clearly written, "Anything goes" can be often mis-construed

Well, if you feel that strongly about this, and believe this so much, I dare you to try to hack in the free world, make an appeal with this opinion in it, and see what the mods think. :P

And I'm pretty positive mods can force TP if someone is being accused of hacking. (If that's what you and DJ are arguing about?).

Mods are not allowed to take action without evidence, this is one of the main reasons accusing people of hacking in chat is a bad idea. Yes, Moderators are allowed to force tp, I admit I wasn't clear on that but in past staff reports(One currently pending), in the terms he used it, it was not.

If someone suspects someone else of hacking, the moderator has every right to investigate with a force tpa, end of story.

      Tp'ing other players there after a force-tp isn't allowed.

Mods are allowed to tp and take a look if someone calls them over to see a person breaking rules.
At least, they were when I was a mod. Let's keep this thread on topic.

One last off-topic here. I'm referring more to the other way around, a Mod force tp's and then gets people to get evidence.
