To start this off, just a little bit about me. <3 Firstly, ello there. Thank you for reading this! I'm Christi. I live in the lovely city of Hong Kong, China. Some of you may know me as almarobb123, as I played on that account for a long time, and still do occasionally. Alright, let's get back on topic.

I am 15 years old. (My birthday is the 16th of June)

I speak English, decent Cantonese/Mandarin and some Spanish.

Why do you think you should become a mod?
I just want to help the community and give back to it, as it has given so much to me. I've met a lot of awesome people in my time at Mineverse. I just love this server and my Minecraft experience wouldn't be complete without it, so I would honestly like to be a bigger part of the server so that I can actually help and give back to the community by supporting them and helping with problems every single day!

I would like to point out some things that I personally think are aspects of a good moderator, and also explain why I would be able to handle the expectations of a mod.

Honesty
Firstly, I believe that honesty is a big thing. If I am accepted as mod, I will do my job fairly and ensure that I am being honest, not just to admins/mods/other high-ranked people, but to the community as a whole. I would never think of abusing the powers given to me as mod, as I would be looked up to and would want to set a good example for other people. I'm a very honest and trustworthy person. I can assure you of that. I would never think of lying to others.

Helpfulness
I really love helping people, whether it be in real life or in Minecraft. Helping others gives me satisfaction, and I really love to see people happy and content, especially when I know that I've made their day just that little bit better. Helping Mineverse and the community inside of it would be an honour.

Maturity
If you don't possess maturity, you don't gain the respect of others, which in turn affects how other people judge you. I personally think that age doesn't affect your maturity. Maturity isn't defined by a number, it's defined by how you act, how you respond to things. It is a core part of being a mod. I think that being unshaken and responding appropriately to any problems or criticism you may get, and being considerate and compassionate, really define maturity for me.

Efficiency
I can be fairly active both in-game and on the forums every day. Almost every day I dedicate quite a large amount of time to this server and lurking the forums (if school/life doesn't get in the way), and I would be able to handle reports efficiently and enforce the rules quickly. Sometimes, I see reports just sitting there, not being handled by any mod for at least a few days. I would be able to solve these issues and kick/ban players if I had to, over a short period of time and therefore rid the server of hackers/ other unpleasant people more quickly.

Politeness
This is also one thing I possess. Every day, I see people losing their temper over trivial things, and I try to be as mature as I can. Now, mature doesn't necessarily have to mean that I capitalise the start of every sentence, end it with a full stop. One thing I believe is that the content of the words being spoken, not the presentation, shows truly how mature you are. That being said, I do type reasonably legibly and quickly (I really hate spelling mistakes) and try to act mature in-game. I talked about this earlier. I also rarely lose my cool. I am a good listener and I would be able to solve problems and listen to people's complaints without losing my temper, and I would deal with disrespect in a calm manner.

Friendliness
Last but by no means least. I love chatting with people in Minecraft, and getting to know them better. I've met some of my best MC friends on this server. I can say that they are absolutely amazing people. I believe friendliness is key to being a good mod, as being friendly also leads people to respect you as a person, and it helps you to connect to the community. And generally I am quite a social person who loves using chat, whether I'm cracking lame puns (don't ask) or helping with peoples' questions.

Of course, these are just some of the many things that I think a mod should aspire to be, and I would strive to do the best job I possibly could if I ever got selected for the chance as mod.

To me, there is absolutely nothing better than helping a server that I love. <3
I'm easy to reach. I'm always available to contact easily, whether it be by forums or on my Skype account. I would happily answer any questions that people have and also address issues that players have. I am also aware of the issue of timezones, but I would try my best to be able to connect and be active on the US timezones (when the most players are on), especially on weekends and holidays.

How long can you be active on the server everyday?
I'd say maybe 1-3 hours, depending on how much work I have to do. It varies from time to time. Probably a bit more on the weekends. I would be able to access the forums while not on the server, and so I can be active on the forums a lot as well.
How long have you been playing Mineverse?
About a year, I would say.
Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
No, but everyone has to start somewhere, right?

In-game, I'm usually on the Prison or Infection servers! I also no-life the forums so you can always find me on here! :3
