Promoting staff that would be on more would be nice, as I've been staff before and an owner once I know it can be difficult to always have a staff member online, I know it's not hard to have them on more then they currently are. Perms for /ignore would be nice to at least help the individual player during the constant lack of staff as there are many kids spamming warp traps to no end. Thanks for reading- -waffen_s_s
There has been soo many threads about "promote more staff" "we need more mods" cyp said he will when the time is right and all the mods settle in. Its not as simple as promoting 20 randoms at once, they need mods with more experience before he can promote more.
It only takes a handfull to successfuly moderate not 20 :P I've seen plenty of apps siting previous experience as well, just sayin. But I think perms for /ignore would be a big help until staff can be found that play more often :D
We do play alot but there is only about 9 mods and 12 gm's which is impossible for all of them to be online 24/7
About the experience, The Staff need to see if they are telling the truth in-game. What if they were lying all about it just to get staff, then ban everyone? :/ Another thing is Mineverse has a lot of staff and personally ( and I even with a mod application ) I think they should not promote any more staff for a while. Only because the mods they have are amazing and know what they are doing. Liers shall be prosecuted.
I had no idea there was that many, I've been on five plus hours a day for about two weeks and the only staff besides owners I've ever seen is Pile_of_Butts.
Plus I might be applying soon I think.I have some mod experience before as a Helper rank. But I hate losing my donor rank benefits lol
The mods do have lives too, you know. They aren't machines, they're people. Pile has work in the morning, and the other mods have school, or work to do. They can't always be on, plus you may have a different timezone, some are from the US, some are from Australia. Cyp will promote when the mods settle in and are ready to teach new mods the ropes. So stop complaining about lack of moderation, and start reporting people instead of complaining about it.
I report every chance I can, I'm just saying in my three weeks of no-lifin g the server, you would think some of the staff you speak of would at least bee seen if even for a moment.
You do know they are heavily spammed, right? They come on to ban, mute, do whatever, and they try to do it incognito.
After being staff for a long while on the last server I was on, being spammed with questions ETC comes with the job. So does helping other players. Moderating isn't just banning and muting. And certainly doesn't involve ignoring everyone just because you might not want to deal with them.
