I don't know, I got scammed again of 3k in Kitpvp and im really done of this kind of Situations, They scam, sometimes they don't get banned and Mods can just Unban them without a Payment back of your stoled stuff. I think Scammers have to be unbanned just if they give back the thing or money they stoled, Because is stupid, You can just lost 3k of money (Lot of work) and you get what? Nothing, You dont even get a prize for reporting them, and you don't have your stuff back? I don't understand this kind of things, I just wanted to say that and know what do you think about it. Leave me a comment below. Peace! ~In Coming new Type of Scammers Baning by me, Be Active~ (Idea)
Well the thing is there's no actual guarantee the person would give you the things back, you could always reset their balance and pay back what was stolen, but that would require Cyp to come on every single time, and honestly he doesn't have time for it, I like the idea that you're compensated, but it's just too much work for the only admin of 14+ servers to come on every single time there's a report of scamming.
I agree that something needs to be done with the scamming problem as its only a problem on mineverse. IF you go to the skyblock servers there is no scamming other than misleading things in the auction. That moment when Noobcrew is looking at this.
If you're done of SCAMMERS too, Check out this thread http://www.mineverse.com/threads/wados-new-scamers-baning-system.30862/#post-307895 ;) Please read it, Its important for the comunitty.
I totally agree, I always get scammed and never get my stuff back, It's unfair. We need to spread this around the forums & mineverse. Also, support.
Don't be gullible and get scammed. When in doubt make them pay first. Remember, it is your fault for trusting them.. Welcome to a thing I like to call Life Enjoy your stay.
It's as said, you have to be very cautious in making deals on Mineverse, especially big ones. Try asking your dealer to fork up first, and if he/she continues to insist on you first then there's a fair possibility it's a scam. Also think logically, e.g no one is going to sell a full p4 diamond armour set for $60-70 (Kit PvP) Those ones are obvious. What I tend to do is, before the transaction, try to knock the price down a little bit. If they allow the price to continually be reduced without argument, then it's also a good chance it's a scam. And of course, some times you just get unlucky, you've just got to move on. Also (and this one is equally obvious) try striking deals with people you trust online ;). Hope this helped :D
i once got scammed by a guy called skinb*****, be quite aware if the person who's dealing has a inappropriate name.
