i think it would get ride of so much hackers and stuff now this is going to be something cool so would it be like they can get /ban only /ban they dont get /fly and /god yea i think it would be really cool and helpful to the server.
Support. Whenever I go online, one person sees me and says 'OMG KITKAT THEREZ A HACKER UMG HALP PLZ ITS BAD!! TP TO RACHETCLANKS HE HACKS!!' And then I tp to him and boom, hacks turned off. And yes, I used @rachetclanks as an example. :t:
Agreed. :P I'm sure we've had this suggestion in the past, but cyp said no to it, I can't remember exactly, but I'm not sure what he said. I like the idea though, so, support. :3
Kitkat the problem is people would try to get mod and abuse it or the older mods would abuse it. I just don't see this working after talking to Terrick who spoke to me about it and pointed out all the negatives
You see, the problem here is they would have to be really trustworthy cause one moderator could easily have a bad day and then go an' abuse their commands, I'm sure someone like Sco could be trusted but there aren't many out there like him, not saying that I don't trust the staff team but it could happen.
I do not support and Like terrick said this will NEVER Happen. 1. How will bans work? as soon as you ban they will knwo who the secret mod is because of The ban message. 2. This will create Heaps of confusion. Plus something like this someone told cyp he said that will never happen either :/
Moderators are actually secret if they blend into the gamemode. Well, until someone shouts out our name, then our cover is blown. Some staff like to hide in the gamemode to catch hackers, like me. But others like to let everyone know they are there for helping. Nothing wrong with that. I would personally prefer it if people would msg me about issues, no say it in the chat. I like to be a random player trying to kill hackers or secretly watch the chat. Most the time players behave when staff are online. That's is why I try to stay hidden. Anyway, support 60%.
couldn't cyp make it so they cant see the name when u ban them and make it so u cant ban mods and stuff like that and it would have to be people that hate hackers our the mods could get alts or they might have alts and tell cyp that there a mod and do like something to know that its them something like that
I dont get it, even when a secret mod bans, wouldn't they have to become unsecret to deal with the appeal?
Glitcher I think you don't get it. Ichidna is suggesting we have /v in game so hackers won't turn off their hacks when someone shouts our ign or see us.
Well if this was an idea, they could just give mods /v so they could go invisible to everything basically.
