So, you may have noticed, "Dj has been such a B*** , Lately ugg, reporting mods, and anyone who pisses him off"!" Well, your right! I have been one as of late, and heres my reason. When I first joined mineverse, I was 2 weeks into my new moderating post at a larger server (I wont say, I've been disgraced anyways, I doubt they would associate with me). I was pretty pissed because of a certain colleague calling me a C***. So, I needed to blow off steam somewhere and that's where I found mineverse. At first, I chilled in rant, and ranted about random thing in life. then I came to know this amazing community for what it really was. That's when it all began for me here. This place was intended for me to blow off steam from my real job. And it worked, I had made new friends, even some besties, even some @Fgt's :t::t:. And all was swell. I never intended to be a staff here, I had my hands tied with my server, and I loved that idea. Being a moderator is excruciatingly painful, any of the people who are or have resigned can tell you. And I loved not having to take care of 2000 people daily. Of course I liked it, it was great, but sometimes it was too much, and I used mineverse and other servers as my outlet. I would come on every so often and hang out with the friends ive made on skype. It was swell, for a long time.... Until these last 2 months at least. I resigned simply due to me getting bored of that server. I wanted something new. So, I left my friends with one last goodbye, and left. I had nowhere to go, so I came back here, and decided to chill till I found a new server to moderate. I hadent been on very often, I went afk for a month at one point. When I came back, I noticed some differences from the old mineverse I knew. For one, the staff and senior members are at constant war. I never remembered this from mineverse of old. What I remembered was that moderators and players were great friends, the older members helping out the newbie mods, and all worked together. What I came back to however, were players telling mods how to moderate (may or may not be guilty at somepoint of this) and mods fighting the senior members, telling them they can handle it on their own. And people on mod apps were like the 300 Spartans, battling to be promoted, going so far as to sabotage eachothers apps.It broke me to watch this, and I knew I could do nothing. Mineverse, one a great place for banter and fun, now a battleground. So, I found a new job, and I parted once again, not left, but went more inactive. Fast forward 2 weeks ago, I resigned because of lack of staff on my team. There were only 28 of us, and 2 admins, we couldn't handle it. we begged for the Co owner to promote, but he said we were doing fine. I left. I wasn't willing to work for a owner who wont provide some relief for his mods. So, I come back here. And I see worse things happening. 12 filed reports on mods, most skyblock, mostly Taylor and Larry and Kato. 12 reports. It blew my mind. Everywhere I go, I keep on seeing the same cycle going on. Beginning, golden time, warring time, And fallout. And it happens again. All of my friends from the last staff team all left. Nobody remains from the original team. Most, like grayson, left to another server. Some stayed. But the war between the staff and sr.Members Got worse. A lot worse. It became dirty. It hurt me how many people could hate each other so much, when they don't even know each other properly. So, that pissed me off, and I raged. Now, the cycle continues on, I am looking for another server to moderate. And I wonder what mv will look like once ive come back to it...... So, there you go. This is the reason as to why ive been a C*** lately. I will never reapply to moderator, I don't think I can help the server very much, and I don't think a server can run efficiently with 1 admin (Who does an amazing job, just needs help) Anyways, for those who brutally hate me, ill be gone in about 2 weeks or less, whenever I can land a new job. If you perhaps read the thread, particularly the title, that's the reason I've been an lately and reporting fry and pops. Those are the only 2 reports on mods I've ever filed For gaming
It's really sad to see such a very well known person of Mineverse go. I wish you luck on other servers, and your life.
If you noticed the "fights" between mods and players, then why did you go ahead and reported fry and me? Anyway, past is past, we live in the present. I think you're pretty cool, but try to control your temper. If you feel like you're about to burst, just take a break and go get some fresh air. Pshh, I'll add you on skype <3
