Ghast Griefers

Im not even saying its hard to survive (i survive there quite easy) im just saying i like my island looking really nice and i cant do that to the extent i would like without ghasts burning all down. At least i would like for the ghasts fireballs to not burn things.

 

Lizardkeeper it is called HELLblock for a reason. If we made it super easy then we would call it Paradiseblock don't u think? Also u can set up defense systems or go on mine craft wiki and search up. What substance is immune to ghosts and use that.

 

Its not really hard to survive tho, I survive quite easy. I would just like for ghasts to at least have there fireballs not cause fire spread. I have a large building im working on right now and i cant add the wood/leaves i would like to the build because of ghasts burning wood and leaves.

Ain't this what he'll block is about... like you don't build a house in the nether so just don't build a huge house and a huge island just make a nice average house.

Just cover the dirt/ wood/leaves with Netherbrick or Slabs.
Also, you can cover your island up with Netherbrick or slabs(I dont think thats good)

 

But thats no fun, I like to build.

I played skyblock for the past year, I have Massive buildings all over my island and stacks of every block you can get in that game. All the players that know me over there have told me a have basically beat the game. There is no more fun in skyblock for me so i moved over to hellblock to make equally nice places.

Make a nether brick enclosure, problem solved. 90% of my island is better brick and I get ghats all the time. No problem there. If you reach the level that they attack frequently, you are well of enough to make enough better brick. This suggestion will probably never happen.

 

But he wants to build stuff. Not just make a small enclosure.

 

I don't understand why you, and bananaman11223 still want to argue about this. The solution has already been given.

 

The only problem with a "nether brick enclosure" is that because the things i build are soo big, Ghasts will still spawn inside of the the room, so now i have a ghast trapped in a room full of burnable/destroyable stuff.

Ghasts don't spawn on transparent blocks
So I suggest, that you make your flooring with glass.
Other than that, I don't know How to help you anymore

It's supposed to be hard to manage and survive, hence the challenge.
