i wouldn't do it just becausse mobs can spawn and murder u.

No I do it all the time XD.

 

1. Look at cobble/netherrack
2. Positon mouse proporly
3. Apply tape to left click button
4. Come back 30 mins later

How?

 

Hold break block button and press f11 (or fn and f11) ;)

 

But what if it lags out and you break the block behind or below the cobble. And then lava kills you.
Cause that can happen.

 

Then it's your fault for AFK mining, one of the risks :P

 

Then go AFK mining at your own risk.

 

I once thought of it and did it, I personally think you should afk mine at your own risk. Also I haven't heard any reports or problems about it.
