Introduction Hello everyone! First of all, I would like to thank you for clicking my application. I hope you will enjoy reading it! How old are you? I am currently 14 years of age. My birthday is in September 29th. Even though I am still pretty young, I think it's not my age that really matters, but my maturity and my ability to understand other people, and make them feel better. What is your in-game name? My in-game name is PopIs_MyLife. Many people call me Pops, Pop, or even Popsicle. What timezone are you in? I am in GMT+2 Standard Time. What country do you live in? As the title says, I live in Romania, a small country situated in Europe. What languages do you speak? Being grown in a bilingual family, I speak many languages. Romanian is, of course, my mother language. My grandparents were english and, with their help, I can now speak English fluently. Also, I have always had a passion for Germany, and that is what motivated me to learn German. I am currently taking French lessons, but it will take a while for me to master it. Also, I have recently started learning Latin in school. Knowing a lot of languages is important, because every human being in the world deserves questions answered, regardless of their spoken language. Why do you think you should become a mod? Being a mod is, obviously, a very difficult task. It not only involves a lot of maturity, but also the abilty to help people to learn from their mistakes, and that is what I've always tried to achieve through my actions. I think I should be a mod because I generally am a very helpful person. In my opinion, there is nothing better in life than helping other people. I always try to make everyone's day better, by just doing small things like giving them a hug or a shoulder to cry on, and, why not, by just smiling at them and complimenting them in any way possible. I am applying here because I truly believe that Mineverse needs a mod that can be active at a lot of times, since I am pretty active and there are times when I really need a mod to help me and the players in general, with common things like disrespect in chat, and so on. In addition, I think I should be a moderator because I am fair. While I have lots of great friends on the server, that does not merit preferential treatment from the staff. I will make all staff related decisions in an unbiased manner. This will ensure a happier and healthier community. Another reason I believe I should be a Moderator is my social and approachable personality. If I am promoted, I will maintain this trait. This will be helpful because it will show that the other staff will listen to my opinion and want to joke around and have fun. This will hopefully result in a more fun server for everybody. Furthermore, I think that being a mod here will help me in my real life as well, because I will be able to confront with tough situations better. Not only these, but also there's not many mods in the same timezone with me (None actually, I believe), and that would make it so that there would usually be a mod on, which would certainly benefit the community. The final reason why I believe I should join the staff team is my sheer commitment to the server. I play for quite a lot of time every day, and for all that time, I try to help everyone understand how to play the various gamemodes of mineverse.com. [Extra] My qualifications: Quick Typer - I can respond to messages pretty quickly, which means that I do not get overwhelmed when many people message me at once, and I do my best to answer to everyone as quickly as possible. My WPM (Words per minute) is currently at 81. Helpful - I am a helpful person, because I try to answer everyone's questions. Also, I try not to neglect anyone, and give everyone the help that they deserve, for I have been helped when I was a starter, too. Responsible - I can say I am a pretty responsible person, because I have a couple of fish in real life, and it is really not that easy to remember when and what to feed them, and I do believe this has helped me be how I am now. Active - I am pretty active, not only in game but also on the forums. I also like reading other people's appeals in between my classes, because I believe I have a lot to learn from how other mods deal with them. After all, that is what I am hoping to do too, right? Creative - I'm the kind of person that always tries to see the problem from a different angle, to inspect every solution possible and choose the best one. Hard-working - I am a hard-working person, which means that I don't give up easily and I can spend a long time thinking of what is the best decision to be taken in different appeals. Honest - I am a honest person, which means that if I am told a secret, I will do my best to keep it. Patient - This is very important because patience is always a virtue, and also because I try to let the players their time to think, and not request an answer straight away. Once again, this will be helpful in my (possible) future appeals. Calm - I think I am pretty calm, which means that I don't lose my temper easily, especially when I am given constructive criticism, which we all need to get. Respectful - I am generally very respectful to other players, which means that even if they tell me some really bad words, I do my best not to be disrespectful back. Last, but not least, I am the kind of person that will not quit just because of a minor thing. That minor thing can vary from losing some rares in game to losing the mod prefix. No matter what, I will always be a devoted player of mineverse. How long can you be active on the server everyday? Like any other human being, I can't determine what is going to happen during every day of my life. Though, I will try to adhere to the following online times: On Mondays - 2 to 4 hours. On Tuesdays - 2 to 4 hours. On Wednesdays - 2 to 4 hours. On Thursdays - 2 to 4 hours. On Fridays - 4 to 6 hours. On Saturdays/Sundays - 6 to 8 hours unless I am going somewhere. How long have you been playing Mineverse? I have been playing Mineverse since around June, so that would be about 4 months. Even though I am a fairly new player, you know what they say: "It doesn't matter how much time we get, but what we do with the time that we are given." Have you ever been banned in the past? I have never been banned on Mineverse. Though, I have been banned on the old hellblock.net, twice. First, it was for griefing, which happened in my early days, around April or May. Second time was for using /god and /fly in the old /warp pvp. Even though I don't have the cleanest past, I think that being banned has actually really helped me. It has taught me how important obeying the rules is. Without rules, our society would live in a complete anomy, which is definitely not something we'd want. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I actually do. I was an admin on one of my friends' servers, which has given me the opportunity to practice the commands. I have resigned from that position, in order to be able to focus on Noobcrew's servers. You should add some color in your app and in why you should be moderator list some specific things like thua : Example: Blah blah blah :P try doing these things
I don't like adding too much color. I try to focus on the actual information that the app has, not the color, which is, in my opinion, irrelevant. Thanks though
