I think the spawn rate of mobs is insane and that its preventing me from doing anything on my island. I am simply trying to layout my foundation to my future land BUT the amount of mobs is making this job impossible. Please consider this Noob And Cyp.

I agree it is a little bit high. It doesn't give enough room to build and such without having to anger them.

I come back to my island thinking all the pigmen are gone but I'm greeted by 2 ghast. These things destroy your island and annoy you to the point where you want to leave.

 

The ghasts are normal

 

I've disabled pig zombies for now lol.

Thank the gods. They were taking my island from me xD.

 

To get rid of them, get netherbricks slabs and put them as floor. If you place them correctly, it should prevent them from spawning.

 

No need to disable, Just turn down the spawning rate

 

Don't disable the pig zombies, you should see the ghast, it's a worse nightmare

 

they destroyed my island >_<

 

Hellblock is made to be hard, to have ghasts not blowing your island, get netherbricks. The explosion damage from a ghasts fireball is 17 and netherbricks can take up to 30 while netherrack only can take up to 2.
