I know this is just my opinion, sorry for all the dialogue, but I was playing kitpvp today and a thought hit me. I mean no offense to anyone or anything. Well I've thought about maturity lately and what that means. Minecraft is an amazing game. It builds loyal friendships and yet it fuels the deepest rivalries. But playing a game like this grants a certain "power" by being able to talk to someone without looking at them. Thus giving you the ability to insult or offend someone. People abuse this often and its very Immature. Little kidd sit around being mean to each other for no reason always saying " you noob". Then stupid wars start about stupid things like " you killed me! You got lucky" and " no I didn't you just suck!", thus beginning the war..... Back to the point , Maturity. I am sick of being cursed at and being ridiculed by immature brats that feel like they have power behind a dumb monitor. So just be smart for once. My point is : Always be respectful and be mature . Do not start heated arguments please. Just try being grown-up for once. -Light
I agree about people feeling powerful because they're behind a screen. But maturity comes with age, and we have to remember the age of quite a few of the people on the server. So yes everyone, try to play nice <3
I understand that a maturity problem can easily be seen in minecraft. One must remember that many children lack maturity. This is because kids are kids. They cannot help it, as many kids on minecaft are still very young. Some kids are able to obtain this characteristic earlier than others, but in the end, kids will learn how to be mature at their own pace and nothing can be done about it.
Being a 'child' myself, I've encountered some... disbelief towards my maturity and I've had to work harder to prove myself. But as Chloyy said, kids are kids, as well as the fact everything is easier to say when you can't see the other person. Regarding maturity though, all kids learn eventually to respect others (no matter how long it takes) and how to be responsible and mature.
