Introduction to me​

Hi guys, it's Josh and this is my application but before you go on reading this I have been banned once for advertising and @Pile_of_Butts was gracious enough to un-ban me. (this happened over a year ago).

What languages do you speak?
I speak french and english, I can understand Spanish a bit because it's similar to french but that's it.

Why do you think you should become a mod?
I think I can help the community out I've seen the mods work and they do an amazing job, I've talked to some of them briefly in the past but when I'm on I rarely see a mod on at the same time I've seen so many hackers in the past and I try to get proof but it's not the best quality as you've probably seen with the posts I made regarding 8 hackers. I love this community it's amongst the best I know of, people support each other and I want to do my part and help moderate the server. I have been here for a year now I've seen the server grow and I want to do my part I feel that I am qualified to be a mod and have experience.

Now I'll list some good qualities I know a good mod should have.

Honesty:​

I have a really hard time lying so I don't lie and I think honesty is a must in a mod. If a mod is dis-honest they could get people banned/muted for fake reasons. Honesty is important and goes hand in hand with responsibility and trustworthiness.

Understanding:​

Understanding, this is something that is important, if you don't listen to both sides of the conflict you may get the wrong idea in your head. I am understanding, if someone is lagging I can understand that it sometimes seems like hacks. It's happened many times, I do not want people banned due to someone's lag.

Activity in-game:​

If I'm not working with my dad doing something with cadets or talking with my gf I will be on for an hour and more, my mom doesn't let me on the computer on sundays so I'll be on 6 days a week. I am VERY active on the forums I love to read all the threads and help out where I can.

Responsibility:​

If I make a mistake or am mean to someone I will apologize, if I ban someone and was wrong to do so I will un-ban and apologize as soon as I can. I will answer on ban apeals quickly as well. (My iPod gives me notifications when I get messages.) I will do all the duties of a mod and anything else required and I will do my best to excell.

Considerate:​

I consider all the possibilities before taking actions for instance was the person lagging, what happened. I will consider every aspect I can think of when looking over a report. I've always considered both parties (The accused and the accuser), I find solutions as soon as I can.

Social:​

I'm pretty social and active on the forums every day I look over every recent post and reply as much as I can. I am also social in-game, I can talk for a while and I don't ignore people unless they're asking for my stuff. I am around the forums a lot and don't mind people tagging me.

Fights:​

I try and find solutions and not start flame wars. I have been in flame wars before don't get me wrong, but I try to have no flame wars as much as I can but no one's perfect so it can happen but rarely.

Helpful:​

I love helping others, if something needs to get done I'll volunteer. I've seen some mods on other servers just kick back and relax when stuff needed to get done... I don't want to be that mod that does nothing. If you need help with something in-game message me.

Trustworthy:​

If I say I'll do something, I will I don't break my word often and when I do it's because I can't actually do it then I will ask for help.

Decision making:​

I am good at making decisions, I know when someone deserves to be accepted or denied (If he/she lies results in auto-ban) I will give an even chamce to everyone.

Maturity:​

To be honest I am a very mature teen, I obey the rules and stop fights I try to not get in any and if one does start I stop it before it gets out of hand. I don't swear anywhere so you won't see me swearing or cursing here either. I do not like when people make fun of someone I will defend them and warn the offender and if the offense is great enough I will mute or even ban if it is necessary. I know the rules pretty well considering I've been here for a very long time.

Wise:​

Well I know probably none of you knew this but I am very strong in math and science due to me being very logical (I get 95%+ on each). I am a smart guy according to some people in my class, sometimes people want to do it one way but if there's a better way I try to find. I use my head a lit for mental calculations (Yeah I'm weird I know lol) I do them often. And yes science and math are my favourite subjects. :p

How long can you be active on the server everyday?
I am usually on 1hour minimum a day.

How long have you been playing Mineverse?
I've played Mineverse for a bit more than a year now.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
Honestly I've never been mod, I've been co-owner and admin on some servers which now are no longer, I'm currently a builder on another server if mods need proof private message me I'll give you the IP and show you.

I love this community you guys are the best, if you don't think I'm ready for mod please tell me I want you to be honest with me, thank you guys for taking time out of your day to read my app.
I know pretty much all the commands a mod should know and more.

Gamemodes I play on: ​

I play mostly on KitPvP occasionally on OP PvP, I also play hellblock and a bit of parkour.

I'd like to moderate KitPvP and OPPvP or global I know it's not necessarily a choice to be global mod but I feel I could do a good job.

 

If I need more detail I'll edit it just tell me.

 

Follow this Tips:
*Use more colour
*Use Spaces between the Questions.
*Add More Detail in "Why do you think you should become a mod?"
And that's it. I think if you fix that minimal mistakes you're going to have a Nice Mod App!
