Thoughts on Microsoft possibly buying Minecraft

I really just don't want to see the game being changed too much. That is all.

 

I made a similar thread on SkyBlock. Theirs more to this than it's being let off, Notch is a drama Queen, he thrives on it. He also said when the game starts declining he will release the source code for free, not to mention Notch has a strong hatred for AAA titles, but every day he's a different person.

Also MineCraft isn't getting any more popular than it is, in fact it's declining. So why is Microsoft buying it for $2b when they wont make that back, Every other game by Notch has failed and if he does leave he's walking out on two games he's making. Knowing Microsoft, MineCraft is going to get DLC's, servers will flow straight to them instead of Mojang, so it could actually play off if they play it right, but it's a massive gamble. Wouldn't be the first company Microsoft has ruined.
Oh, and get ready for PS4 & PC to be ignored.

 

Microsoft buying Minecraft wouldn't be as bad as Apple buying Minecraft.

 

Where is this coming from? Apple is actually a very good company, they changed the music generation. The only issue I have with them is their Macs, they're pieces of crap.. worth $1,300.

 

When did I ever say I hated Apple? I have an iPhone, so that can't be possible. I just prefer Microsoft over Apple.

Anyways, I think Microsoft buying Minecraft could make it a whole better. And remember, if Microsoft buys Mojang, the original developers will still work on it.
When a company buys another company, they are basically just buying 100% of their shares and profit, but the original company still stays the same (mostly) so the production can be efficient.

 

But didn't someone say above the Notch would quit if Microsoft bought Minecraft...?

 

2 billion dollars is a good deal.

No they're not. If they were making billions a day, why sell it for $2b? In fact I'd say MineCraft is pulling about 10k a day these days. It's not as popular as it used to be.

 

Alright but why would Notch wonna sell his game?

 

He's actually being clever it'll take em a few years/months to make 2 billion back and they might not even make it back since this game is dying

 

Guys I dont have any Problems because i have Xbox 360 and PC edition. well not really "dont have Probs"
because i will not get to play the Update on Xbox 360 because Microsoft is focusing in XBOX 1 I am very sad but at least i will still get to play Both Minecraft :P YEAH (BANANAZ like a Boss) well yea thats the thing that i dont like most I really will regret other Stuff like MAYBE.. MAYBE Microsoft will Make The Default Texturepack of Minecraft to Real Life because Microsoft is always focusing in Modern Stuff lol

And if Notch sells the Game Notch will still Not be a wise man because lots and lots of players wants Notch/Jeb to be the Owners of Minecraft without them Minecraft DIES. Notch if ur reading this make shure to use ur money wisley 2 Billion is just Money think about your Life and Others peoples Life they spent like 32 Dollars or somthing for Your Creation leave it like this.
