EnderPearl Cooldown on Kit/OP PvP

When I have someone down low in a pvp fight they would always enderpearl spam just to get away from me. I'm so tired of losing kills as a result of this; I like that ender pearls allow you to get on top of houses and stuff but are still annoying. So instead of getting rid of them I think there needs to be a cooldown of 15+ seconds on the two pvp servers.

 

Wow no just no!. U will be crying when u are half a heart on kitpvp and u tried a throw a pearl but it said 10 secs but u trusted the pearl to save u and it didn't so u died with p4 a god apple sharp 5 power 5 bow and regens and pearls so think twice before u want this

 

It works like this, you throw a pearl and you have to wait 10 seconds to throw another one.

 

I do not support this idea.

 

I play on <edit> as i am banned on kittpvp atm and they have a 10 second pearl cooldown. I've died and killed hundreds of players do to pearl cooldown + clear lag, I do not support

I see where you are coming from. I deal with pearl spammers all the time. But here are serval problems with this. If you play kit, and you die it's not fun recovering at all. Players are going to die much faster. What if you are dealing with 3 hackers in a room? And you can only ender pearl every 10-15 secs? The hackers will kill you by then. On Oppvp people do spamm pearls, but you can too. Follow their pearls...

 

No support. It's just a different type of strategy for pvping which I happen to enjoy a lot.

 

No Support due to the fact thats why Mineverse is so cool... all servers with Cooldowns or no Enderpearls are most likely pay2win servers... this cooldown would take the fact away that everyone would have a Chance... especially nubs

I give this a %50 yes and a %50 no, I hate enderpearl spammers, but in the other hand when I am low, I like to spam myself.

 

No support i deal with spammers all the time but a coold down would be bad mineverse is getting infested with hackers and ender pearls are the only way to escape most of the time. If you can't see the pearls get a texture pack that makes them pink or something so u can see where they are going to land.

 

I see the pearl, it is just that noobs throw left right up behind, it is hard to see where they'll end up.

I never team so it can get hard against hackers sometimes. Ender pearls are my only defense if I come across a hacker that's actually good at using his/her hacks.

 

THIS IS a bad idea! What are we gunna do when there are so many hackers on kitpvp and op pvp. theres no way to get away if it takes forever to use a enderpearl

 

Maybe a smaller cooldown? May I suggest 2-5 seconds? That way people can't spam at least? :D
