This has turned into a flame war.

 

We, as appointed moderators of the server act under the authority of the server ownership and administration. There is no reason for anyone to dispute that fact. When we say something 99% of the time we have an admin's backing for it. When we don't we feel it's a good consensus in the interim before we get said backing. The server is operated by Noobcrew and as such is private property. He, and any officials he has appointed for the task, may remove any user for any reason with or without warning. We do our best to ensure fair actions and reactions. We do our best to ensure that the server is a fun and safe place for everyone. We do our best to ensure that troublemakers can't ruin this experience.

The number one concept here is to use common sense. We are the staff, essentially the Judge Dredds of the server. Few cases will effectively be disputed against us that are cases we didn't want disputed. When we let a player come back from a ban, we wanted it. Our word is what applies.

Beyond that, if something isn't fair, it should be against the rules. There are VERY few exceptions to this, donors being the major part. Even mods aren't supposed to use non-donor perks as an advantage in a game.

1. They are official. It was pinned by Cyp, approved by Cyp, and in part developed by cyp.
2. It's such a large server with so many rules it would be impossible to develop a rule board or something similar on every single server. Many servers have rules only on the forums, because it's prettier, easier to format, update, easier to read, etc...
3. You don't need a forum account to view threads.
4. You don't need an MOTD for rules. If players don't wanna get banned, they'll read them. All you have to do is ask a staff member.
5. Every single staff member at the time had the option to input into a thread I had made before moving it to discussion.

As for the whole subject in the first place.... Hacking? Really? Jesus christ. Both of you know well that it is against the rules, has always been against the rules, and always will be against the rules. Don't try and slip by by pretending that what I wrote was unofficial in anyway.

And lastly, I'm really bothered that you refered to me as ex-staff as if it was a bad thing. I resigned. I was a loyal part of this staff team for 2 years. I should still be respected. Just because i'm no longer staff doesn't mean anything I did as staff is no longer valid.
