Time for another random rant with Ninja! Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor is a new game coming to Xbox, Playstation, and PC. This game is to be set in the Lord of the Rings era, but without all the Lord of the Rings original characters of course! Many past Middle Earth games weren't the best, but this one sure looks promising. Your character's name is Talion, a protector of Mordor. He was defending Mordor from it's biggest threat in decades when him and his entire family were killed. Everyone but Talion "died". Talion was resurrected by a spirit and was sent on a journey to destroy what killed his family. Only then he can rest satisfied with his family and friends. In the game, you acquire "upgrades" for your weapons by killing clan chiefs. It is also said that when you die, instead of the game going back to your last saved checkpoint, it moves on. Creatures remember how you fought them and they grow to defend attacks the same way - making it so if you die to an enemy, you have to attack differently next time around. This feature is amazing. You also pick your enemies before and while you play the game - once again, amazing! From the way it looks, this game looks like it has the same mechanics as Assassin's Creed, but takes place way before and (in my opinion) - in a better era. This game was originally said to be released on October, 14th 2014, but was moved to a sooner time - September 30th, 2014. The game being released makes it so my anxiety for this game is a little less agitating. So, what do you think about this game? Comment down below! I like the mechanic of how the creatures learn the ability to remember your moves, and next time you have to do it differently. That's something I've never heard of before. Otherwise, I think it sounds like a good game, and I would play it IF: I had money, I had an Xbox, PS4, or a better running PC ,_,
