Contraband (once and for all)

Well, I'll be glad to watch the amount of bloodbath that will occur in D block (and S-te-fan. Inside joke). That also kills my main source of reports, so I'll need to find a new way to be the first to make 100 successful reports (26 away :D)

 

K at least it gives mods/guards more independence

 

This is gonna make it easy for people to Troll... They can kill somone... drop the item they used and run... no mod will know

 

May I ask what is the reason behind this updated rule?

Let's say around West-Europe time 11:17 (for me atm). There are no guards online. I am spotting someone with a diamond sword. I can't do anything about that?

 

Look. You have your answer. If you see someone using an OP diamond sword, don't go into the PVP area. The aspect of the prison server is based on prison to a degree. Guards enforce what they see not what they do not see. We are creating it all to be a little more based on what the RPG was intended for.

If you see someone with contraband, do not report. It will be rejected.

Will anarchy reign for a bit, sure. Will people use it when guards are not on.. yes (what is different, people still used it even with the risk of a screenshot)

Can you keep yourself away from the danger.. Yes.

If you are truly worried and have to be in the PVP area then I suggest upgrading your armor.

This is the direction we are going with this. This is what the game is intended for. Do something bad and get caught "RED HANDED" and be punished. If not caught then carry on.

There was a time when it was enforced a certain way but that is over. Good luck to all and watch your back. This is prison, you can't trust anyone!

Then get your butt out there and defend them until a guard gets online. If not, then sorry but in a prison, the fish get eaten.

 

Yes it's prison, but it's also a game. And if people can't play then people leave. Simple as that.

 

How does that change anything? You'd still have to wait for the guard to get online and deal with the report anyway..

And those that comprehend the basis of the game mode will stay. Those players you speak of will leave anyway regardless of a forum/screenshot reporting system.
