Contraband Changes

Prison is a game mode that is to be role played. Guards having to catch players with contraband items in hand is contradicting players reporting others for contraband.

That said, we will be no longer accepting reports for contraband items as of 8/11/14.

Now, us guards have to personally catch you with a contraband item in hand to sentence a jail. With this rule changed back, we can satisfy prison with a pleasurable role playing experience.

Guessing this is because of recent events, however can it be a valid report if you actually screenshot them using it in pvp?

 

PvP doesn't change anything.

 

So we are allowed to use contrabands in pvp and the only rule is to dont get caught?

 

You are not allowed to use them, you just can't report them.

 

Thank God, But can I still report if someone is using flint and steel and burning people in the Mines?

No, just no...
You do realize with this rule in place whenever there is no guard on all hell breaks loose right?
No one will care about contraband if they dont get caught. And the thing is that most of the day there is no guard, so no one will care.
Also, the amount of guards that would have to be online at 1 time is 4, 1 for each block, and we barely ever have 2 on, if any. This will just strain the guards out.
Not a good idea in my opinion...

Well, the rules wont work.
Trust me, right now everyone is making sharpV fireII Diamond swords as we speak.
This will not work.
Because no one cares about the rules.

 

Maybe Cyp plans to promote more Guards in time?

 

Even if he promoted 100 guards no one will be on most of the time.
The server at most has 30 members at any given moment, who would want to moderate that?
They would just get bored and see nothing is wrong and play something else.
