Ok heres my problem. I have cleared my inventory and I have done everything everyone suggested. And I still am dead everytime I join and if I click respawn then I still die right after. There is nothing in my inventory. It is like the book cursed me or something.
I can play on creative but I can't sprint. Here is why. I was on my headshop and suddenly a girl put a wither head on the item hopper that said "ultra ultra speed" I took it and by accident I put it in my and and I walked and I crashed. I got on and I couldn't walk. Thanks to fendodo and Noobcrew because he came on and talked to me and healed me.... (Best moment ever in my life) and these 2 friends helped me. Thanks to them I can walk but I can't take no more god items with speed, or sprint. ;-;
Nothing works, and still dying!!! I'm sick of just dying and dying while I look at people in joy with their friends. Can some admin do a command or something instead of the stuff we already tried, Or just delete the server and re make it? Whoever made these items should be banned in every creative server there is out there. If this continues, less players will be able to join and no one will like the server. I know it causes less lag but I want to be back on the server!!! If I cant, I will quit forever. Pls do every command to regain me, my in game name is my name in this website.
Here's another solution: If you happen to die from a death item: DO NOT CLICK RESPAWN* As soon as you get the book, close your Minecraft window right away Go back into Minecraft and you should be all good. If the book still happens to be in your inventory, remove it right away, but don't put it in your hand, and PLEASE don't give it to other people. *You MUST do this the first time you get the item! If you clicked re-spawn on the first time you got it, well, it's not gonna work, sorry! This works for me, but I'm not sure if it does for you, so please do not vote me down for this. Thanks!

I have added to the post, saying you MUST do it the first time you get the item, not after u click respawn
Bump, this situation with the death items has gone to far, if your having trouble with respawning on Creative Look at this thread, it tells you everything you need to do, otherwise, you'll continue on dieing.
